Well, I think it should be obvious that I've been pretty MIA.
That being said, Trotcon December 2021 came and went and I really have found a new and old appreciation of what I missed about this fandom and that was Fallout and Horses primarily. This is a good thing because it really got me thinking hard on what I wanted.
I'm going to start working on some projects again, primarily one project. One important bit here is that yes, I am cancelling "Reclamation Day". I haven't been utterly thrilled with myself over it and it wasn't a great idea. I felt myself writing into a wall on it, and it was just frankly frustrating me.
While there's potentially still a place for Starry Night in the future (I do love Starry quite a bit), I found myself just drawn to wanting to potentially go back to a pony I have loved for literally forever (IT FEELS LIKE FOREVER) and that is of course... Radiant Star.
That's right, I'm currently theorycrafting a new FoE story with Radiant Star and Violet Iris. :)
I can't say yet when it will first show up here, but I'm hoping soon. I really just started poking at the idea with a synopsis and an outline, and suffice to say, this one will even more deeply dive into the past (because Star's adventures have always been really about that) and I'm hopeful that part is fun and interesting.
I'm looking forward to getting it put out there for sure though.

Oh damn, here we go again!
My only advice is, don't utterly invalidate radiant and company's HEA (happily ever after) just for the sake of making the new story 'work' , far too many authors fall into that trap
