My Hearths Warming Stories (Rating them for Myself) · 10:52pm Dec 19th, 2021
I'm just gathering up all my current Hearths Warming stories and rate them for myself, and why I like them so much. (Which ones I feel hurt and destroy Twilight/the ponies the most)
#7 STARFLEET MAGIC MOVIE: HOW THE FINCH STOPPED HEARTHS WARMING.
Starfleet's first-ever Hearths Warming is endangered by a wicked Finch with freezing powers, and is trying to destroy Hearths Warming by freezing hearts cold so no one will care, share, or feel like celebrating. Starfleet confronts her, but Twilight's recklessness nearly cost them dearly, causing Lightning to be upset with her. In the end, Lightning and Twilight DO work it out and successfully save the world
Rates the lowest because even though Twilight is getting a talking-to about her carelessness and misunderstandings of how to handle things, in the end everyone works it out and they all are friends. (U'LCH)
#6: ONE LAST HEARTHS WARMING
A terminally ill pony who is on his last run, meets up with his daughter whom he was forced to give up for adoption ages ago. Though they forms a bond, he does not wish she know he's her father, mainly because he is dying and doesn't want her worrying about him, or to think much about him. In the end, she learns the truth, and they have a tearful reunion of reconciliation... before he dies.
This rates the 2nd lowest because, even though I did succeed in crushing spirits and making ponies upset, it's not a Friendship is Failure, Twilight and friends are not getting thrashed, and in the end, even with the death, there was still the hearth-warming, tear-jerking reunion. (BLECH)
#5 FIF 11: THE MEANIE OF HEARTHS WARMING
Celestia organizes the usual Hearths Warming pageant, but Rarity is feeling jealous that her long-heated rival, Glitter Glitz, is given the lead role as the princess. After a long and heated argument, Rarity and Glitter fight backstage about who's trying to one-up who, and Rarity really lays it into Glitter that all she cared about was her fashion business and never had a family... forcing Glitter to sadly reveal her pain-- her husband died before they could have children, and all she had was her business to keep her going. Glitter leaves in a huff, Rarity is chastised for being thoughtless and inconsiderate. She tires to make amends with Glitter, but Glitter is not interested.
The dramatics aren't good enough, and it's Rarity who's being targeted rather than Twilight. Not to mention it's a rather short and simple heated argument with rivals without too much of a cost in the end. At least Rarity's pomposity is at an all time high.
#4 MURDER ON HEARTHS WARMING
Rarity plays sleuth detective again, trying to solve a mystery of who done it when a pony's dead body is discovered, and the suspects are rather... well... suspicious. In the end, she determines it wasn't a murder, but an act of suicide-- the victim had killed himself due to many heart break, and unjust events happening to him.
It's not a FIF, and I don't really like Rarity as a detective (I keep thinking the MLP writers just THREW that whole thing in) Still, in the end, ponies were put to shame for their harsh and unjust attitudes towards the victims, thus ruining their holiday spirits yet again.
#3 FIF 12 AMENDING HEARTHS WARMING
Helper Soul, a former friend of Twilight's father, Night Light, has his life ruined by Night Light. Twilight tries desperately to help her Dad and Helper make amends and reconcile, but Helper makes it perfectly clear he wants no such thing and totally denounces the entire family. He goes off into the cold night on his own, and eventually dies from stress, anger, and excessive pain in his leg which overwhelm his system. Night Light is devastated. Not only will he never be able to make it up to him... no matter how much anyone tries to tell him it's not his fault (Even though he is largely responsible) he never will feel that way and will be forever haunted.
Not only did I get to ruin Hearths Warming for Twilight's entire family, I got to prove a couple of small, petty, but realistic things, like some people are not willing to make up, nor can they be bought, or reasoned with. Friendship... just won't cut it (Both sides have to be willing to do it)
And also this... sometimes, there is NOTHING you can do to make up for what is done.
#2 FIF 14: A HEARTHS WARMING CAROL
Twilight insists (Forces) Miser Stash to open up towards Hearths Warming, which he does not like. The tree suddenly bursts into flames and Twilight quickly blames Miser for it, and has him tossed into jail. Later it is TWILIGHT who is visited by the three ghosts who show her the truth-- Miser is not a true Scrooge, and that she had no right to try and force her beliefs on him... and also, Twilight discovered it was SHE who caused the accident (Having improperly wiring the lights in the tree because of her impatience and recklessness) In the end, she tries to make it up to Miser, but he has no interest, leaving Twilight shamed and miserable, and the citizens of Ponyville just as unhappy and losing their spirits to celebrate highly.
It rates second because I get to make a complete and total fool and ass out of Twilight (Like how she acted in MARKS FOR EFFORTS when she kicked the CMC away from her school on cruel misjudgment) Once again, here she proved how reckless she can be when she's in a desperate hurry, and how pushy she can be when some-pony doesn't wish to live the way she does.. Once again, she passes judgment without proper evidence or proof, or even investigating.
#1 FIF 20 A HEARTHS WARMING I'LL NEVER FORGET
Now ruler of Equestria, Twilight faces a problem whereas Moon Dancer's mother, Luna Light, disowns her daughter and alienates anyone who is even the least bit loyal or close to Princess Twilight do to personal spite towards her. Twilight tries to be nice and show kindness to Luna, but to no avail, and when asked why she hates her so much, Luna gives a long and harsh rant, labeling Twilight a "Fraud." Prompting Moon Dancer to confront her mother, and they end up engaging in a fight where they end up falling onto a bed of tipped over firedworks, which go off in a huge explosion, killing them both as well as Minuette, Lemon Zest, and Twinkle Shine. Now Twilight grieves for their deaths every Hearths Warming in the future, and it hurts her still.
This one is the winner because, I finally get to lay into Twilight what I think about her, and not only do her feelings get hurt, but I also got to torture Moon Dancer for AMENDING FENCES (Instead of continuing to push Twilight away, she was willing to reconcile with her) and as an added bonus, I killed three more of Twilight's friends to show her how ruthless I am as an Anti-Brony.
"Dakari-King Mykan was ruthless! He went after EVERY CREATURE... whether they were involved or not. He didn't even need a reason to destroy them. He just DID IT!"
*Just a little ficiton I play with*
Ah well... that's how I rate them for me...
As for you, Twilight...
Luster Dawn "Princess Twilight! What's going on? How is all this happening? Can't you do something?!"
Twilight *shaking her head* "A force from outside of our world is responsible for this. I can't heal it, and I cannot stop it."
--they are just characters in a fanfiction, and will do as they are typed/drawn, and I can do ANYTHING I WANT with them!
