Update on the state of Dewdrops (Oct 28th) · 2:58am Oct 29th, 2021
Hello my lovely readers. It's good to speak with you again after almost a month there. I wanted to give you some updates.
Firstly, as I suspected, I was not able to get much work done on Star Trek: Phoenix. This has been primarily due to the fact that my work schedule has been horrendous. I have had constant overtime every single work day, usually in the amount of an hour to two hours, and as a result I have been thoroughly exhausted. And although that OT should be slowing down, it's not; if anything there's even more looking likely in November. My medical issues have been shaky as well, though at least I'm well on my way to having some of them seen to finally. (Including a potential surgery that'll take me off work for a month. Plenty of potential writing time! )
That said, I have not been completely stagnant. I have been working on a couple of short stories, one of which I hope to publish fairly soon. Because I've been very much writing what comforts me, I will freely admit ahead of time both of these are romantic, mature stories. Works of erotica, in other words. Don't worry, I have no intent of writing entirely erotica from now on, but I do enjoy the occasional chance to, and it has been keeping me in practice. I can even announce the title of the first one, to give you a bit of a hint. It's called "My Name is Twilight Too."
Thirdly, a number of stories of mine have been reviews over at the Reviewer's Mansion, but I'd like to specifically call out the review of my first story, Danganronpa: In Harmony's Wake, reviewed by Stinium Ruide. In it he gives a thorough analysis that is, frankly, longer than most of my other stories! He goes quite in depth, to the point of a lot of spoilers, so I recommend not reading till after reading the story itself. But he does highly endorse it and gave it a fantastic score, which I very much appreciate. Thank you Stinium!
Fourthly, I want to thank you all for your patience with me, especially my three editors, who've been very patient indeed. I'm not going to throw out another date this time only to miss it again, but I will be doing my best here to try to write as I am able. Thank you for kind words you've been leaving as well, and I hope you have a wonderful day.
Remember that all of us are here to support you, Dews!
