Have you ever looked around Fimfiction, and thought to yourself, "Hmm, I wonder if someone has ever written a crossover story with [insert franchise here] and MLP?" I have. I've done it with loads of franchises, from Star Trek to Stargate, from the MCU to Batman, from Sonic the Hedgehog to Mario, and so on and so forth.
But lately I've been wondering...where have all the Spyro authors gone?
Oh sure, there's a few Spyro crossovers out there, but I've read quite a few of them, and they never ended up being good in my eyes. They tried, oh bless them, they tried, but they couldn't capture that same magic that the games had. And, more often than not, the stories would either be cancelled or "cancelled"/unfinished.
Well, after months of searching, I finally had enough. If nobody was going to write the Spyro/MLP crossover that I had dreamed of reading for so long, then, in the immortal words of Thanos:
And so the Spiral of Fate Saga was born. It started off small, with just a story about how Luna succumbed to her darker self and the consequences thereafter, and then the universe grew when the story revealed what really happened in the Crystal Empire when Chrysalis was kidnapping the Pony rulers.
And, very soon, the third story will expand the universe once more, introducing new characters, new stories, and new adventures. Worlds will collide, friendships will grow, destinies will become intertwined forever, and the world of Equestria will never be the same.
Expect the first chapter of the next story in the saga to drop soon (tentative release is sometime next week). In the mean time, if you haven't already, I highly recommend that you read the previous two stories in the saga to get more of a feel of the universe I'm crafting.
1. Fear Is Temporary, Regret Is Forever
2. A Silent Night in the North
Have a wonderful day, and I'll see you all very soon! God bless!
