Hi.
It's been a while since I posted anything and that honestly has to due with things happening in my personal life. All of that time away has got me thinking about how my Fallout: Equestria is kind of a reflection of my mindset at that point in time. From the rewrites of All Roads Lead Home to the cancellation of CyberPone and other projects. Why not write it down?

The first version of the story was... lets use the word "tragic". It was dipped from head to toe in troupes and extremely bland characterization. Basically a walking cardboard cutout with angry eyebrow drawn on it with sharpie. The story was just Lonesome Road from Fallout: New Vegas. Not a lot changed except ponies. Only after the sixth chapter did I break through my young native skull and realize this.

The first story, I don't really know what to do with. Whiplash and angry from reviewers with their audiences verses the readers who told me to continue it... I just don't feel comfortable doing it anymore. That flame of desire for it was snuffed out, now replaced with feelings of anxiety. I feel like I'm cheating that audience with a poor bland story that barely holds a drop of worldbuilding or character. So, in my words written here, the story of CyberPone is cancelled and done. Maybe one day I'll come back to explore the streets of my Detrot but that's not today nor tomorrow. I'm deeply sorry if I disappointed you.

And now we reached the modern version of Fallout: Equestria - All Roads Lead Home. The schedule is loose but stays close to monthly updates to the fic with content I can make outside with my limited free time. I don't want this story fail, but all I can do is hope. Hope that the tale of two friends intrigues you. To be completely open about the story's construction for a moment, I want to make an Fo:E story that doesn't exist. A Neo-Fo:E if you'll allow me. A fic that inspires others to test the waters and get more creative with this heavily stagnant world. Maybe break through the stigma surrounding this sub-fandom, but that part is just wishful thinking.
I know that was a little more then a lot of you signed up for, but for those of you who actually read my crazy ramblings and blog posts, thank you. It's you folks who enjoy these stories that I wish to not disappoint. I hope to hear your thoughts in the comments.

To this day, I am amazed at how quickly you improved as a writer. I remember eagerly awaiting new chapters of Cyberpone, even if it meant more work for me as your editor. Sad to see that you've lost the passion for it, but that's just the way it goes sometimes.
