    New New Cover

Soooo, due to popular demand, the old cover has returned, until I have made a better one. Thankfully I can still use the artwork, just without the text. But don't worry, you guys have your cute Luna back.

    New Chapter!

    Alright guys!

Quick update. I have started to do 500 words a day, and that has worked really well for me so far. My hope is my story will be done Sunday, if everything goes smoothly. Then I will pass it along to SoloBrony, who will hopefully use his magic powers of editing to make is smoother to read for you all!

    Am I dead?

    No.

    Hello.

To answer the question, no I am not dead. I just wanted to reach out to you guys, and give you a quick update on everything. As some of you might have noticed, there is no new chapter yet, and for that I am really sorry. My life has been busy as of late, and it has been hard for me to find the time and peace of mind I need to just sit down and focus on writing.

My Thoughts on MLP 5 · 5:14pm Sep 26th, 2021

It was just fine.

I liked it, but it wasn't really that spectacular. For what it tried to do, introducing new fans to MLP, I think it did really good. though I think the movie was a little too safe, and they didn't explore enough, or take advantage of the huge legacy of MLP 4. Still, it was good, and I hope they explore more lore in the new show. :twilightsheepish:

I watched it as well and it turned out to be much better than I expected. While I still feel it doesn't seem realistic that Equestria turned out this way after how FiM ended, this new generation presented the very spirit of G4 in a refreshing kind of way, almost like a reboot as well as a nod to the division between ponykind as was depicted by the Founders of Equestria

Another thing I'm glad the new generation has is a stallion being part of the mane cast tho I sorta wish the mane cast had six as the prior gen did and that the sixth member could have been a unicorn stallion. Perhaps even Izzy Moonbow's friend or relative (not necessarily a brother but perhaps a cousin).

I found it interesting how the movie ended and how each of the pony tribes were presented, as a culture and in their views towards the other ponies

I'm even more psyched and satisfied with something they did that was subtle but obvious if you paid attention. Hint - Hooves

Another thing I found intriguing was how magic was apparently lost because the ponies became divided. Which stills begs the question... how did this happen to begin with? Have the rules regarding magic changed any? What else has changed about ponykind and their world overall?

All an' all, I think G5 is off to a very promising start an despite my original misgivings, I am looking forward to what more will unfold... in The Next Generation!

Yeah exactly, I feel the same way.

With everything that has been established, I feel they should have explained more. In this movie, it just seem that this all goes on within the realm of three towns, instead of all of Equestria. The movie is not bad, but it feels a little too light, and to safe. I wish we could have explored more.

I watched a couple days ago on release day

Not perfect or flawless but I do think this is a pretty great start for a soft beginning of G5

I get that people wanted more G4 stuff but I'm happy they didn't try to use it as a crutch and instead presented something that can stand on its own. We can leave all the lore stuff for the series.

Well, there's only so much they can put into a movie and they clearly had a specific goal in mind and thus couldn't give us any proper answers or explanations. Hopefully, once G5's TV series gets rolling we'll find out more

A good idea would be the new Mane Cast figures out the true secrets of the past and how it all led to the events of the movie, as well as hashing out the details of the three pony tribes living together again

I feel that cultural differences should and probably will continue to cause some social conflicts and figuring out how the three pony tribes can live together again after being apart for what is clearly a considerable amount of time

Another avenue they can do is explore the land of Equestria and we see just how much has really changed and why Maretime Bay, Zephyr Heights and Bridlewood were the main settings the movie focused on before we see new places and such
