I saw an ad on the side of a bus for the new film coming out (something about which I was only dimly aware) and I had that familiar, unusual surge I always get whenever I spot cartoon ponies in the wild.

How dare my guilty pleasure be displayed to the unwashed public! They don't appreciate it the way I and a variety of online strangers do! Get that ad off the bus! Take these magazines and toys from the shelves! It's not for you!

Which is a bit silly, really.

Those new horses look kind of odd. Guess all new things look odd at first...

I'm more excited to see what do with Gen 5 comics (if they do them) because I've found the Gen 4 ones to be a blast. Plus this will likely inject new blood into the sight and we might see some grandiose stories like we did during our height.
