Most of you are probably asleep or away, so you never saw it live, but... oops!
*My newest story's original title was "Rainbow Dash Doesn't Stand a Chance."
*My newest story's original tagline was "Run, Rainbow Dash, run! Pinkie Pie's coming for you..."
*The cover art for my newest story could definitely be construed as Pinkie holding Dash down against her will in a NON-cute manner.
*My nickname is, unfortunately, Cupcakes. I really should have changed it when I had the chance... :|
Put that all together? Yeah... Some people saw it and had an instant "ugh, Cupcakes spin-off" gut reaction. Mega oops!
So, uh, I've changed the title and the tagline. I kept the image though... I really like it, plus it amuses me that I saw it AFTER writing the story when it literally could be an illustration for it.
So there we are, my first foray into the actual shippy part of shipping. I may have slightly botched the launch, but hopefully I didn't come out too singed! If you're the type who likes to read short, one-shot, mid-relationship shipfics, perhaps you should give it a shot~
You changed the name in between me clicking the story and the page loading. I was so confused. >_<

I saw it with its original tittle and such. Cupcakes (the story) never even entered into my mind, if you'd believe it. I feel good about that. Look forward to reading it!

I admit to being oversensitive to the subject thanks to my un-fortuitous pony nickname... but better to change the story's submission details now than to regret it forever, right? Right! Granted, keeping it that way would have been fun for the people looking for Cupcakes spinoffs and finding gross horse kissing instead. :V
Is it just my imagination, or are Pinkie's eyes red in that picture? <.< That doesn't help either.
