Probably overused, but hey, why not? The trailer was fun and energetic, it showed enough to get me interested without giving away too much (also, I can't stop laughing at the name of the pegasus city (why is it named after Fluttershy's brother 
?)), and the animation looked pretty good.
Honestly, I think Gen 5 is going to be perfectly fine if that Trailer is indicative of the rest of the movie and show. Don't know if it will ever hit the heights of Gen 4, but more ponies is still more ponies.
Also, Izzy. 
If nothing else, I'm going to watch just to see what happens with this silly pony.
For anyone who's seen the trailer, thoughts? Will this generation be great, or will it end up like Link's poor marshmallow in my profile picture? Let me know what you think 
One thing I still can't help but question is why Paramount couldn't release this movie directly to their Paramount+ streaming service instead of handing the rights of the project to Netflix. I mean, this would've been a big opportunity for them in every way.
Considering how much of a failing business Netflix is becoming anyway...well, I highly doubt having them distribute the project and being Hasbro's collaborators on the G5 series was the right call to begin with.
