... Alright, so, when I read the description. I thought oh it was going to be a lesbian fic, then realizing it involves Foalcon... To answer the question. No, no you shouldn't be proud of that. the idea of fucking a child is horrible. horrendous. seek help. Pedophilia is not good, its nothing to be proud of or actually feel good about. The story is interesting though flat out the power dynamic between ages and sweetie Belle apparently being this 11-year-olds teacher trying to get her into a school.. Which is just flat-out wrong.
The story is well written, but has no excuse for using the subject and trying to paint, what is written as good or even love. an 11-year-old is not emotionally mature to understand the concept of love or past a crush. Then adding to the fact the characters age. I suspect that the author using two female characters was a chance to get away with it and lighten the blow but imagine a power dynamic or even age setting by changing it to a male teacher with a young female student. yeah, it would not go over well.
The fact that they are also using pride as an excuse for that is just wrong, and disgusting. Since people of the LGBTQ+ have worked hard to disassociate with people like that and the fact that the people in the group are two consenting adults. (Or more, cause why not have a good time) Trying to wedge something that could harm children is a bad idea.
Though adding in the description that the Author will delete all bad reviews. that makes me laugh cause when I finish this I'm copying this review and posting it as a blog. cause flat out. you wanting to hide reviews for people calling you out for this shit. Is not right.

Is there a way to fix the story... Yes, there is, Don't make the character 11 years old! Unless it's with another 11 year old you don't pull a stunt like that. if you want them as a teacher and student, fine but have it where the student had just turned 18 or is about to so say 17, with only a few months, Even with the declaration of it, and have it where the teacher character states this is wrong. Not just be all fluffy about it. Treat it as it is, and if somehow you must make the love interest an 11-year-old might I suggest it be labeled as horror or even a lesson about why you shouldn't do something like this. Have consequences for the Pedophille.

The more comments the author deletes, it more it just leaves a longer and more condemning record of the community not considering it appropriate or acceptable to promote the idea of romance between adults and minors as a good thing or somehow justified as a matter of "no one can tell you who you're allowed to love."
Which makes sense, because, you know, it's not.
Pretending that this falls under the LGBT pride umbrella and deserves the same respect and acceptance as legitimate relationships between adults with the competence and ability to consent is a hideous, perverse farce. The very fact that the story here has to be framed as between teacher and student - ie., a situation with an inherently unequal power dynamic presenting obvious potential for coercion and other abusive manipulations borne from conflicts of interest, a category which relationships between children and adults ALWAYS fall into - is in itself evidence of that.
I expect this post to be deleted, too. But I want that deletion to be part of the record, showing what this author had to resort to in order to pretend that this is somehow "okay."

"This has no place in Pride and Positivity! Well written, perhaps on a technical level, but the subject matter is grotesque. The only way such a thing like this could be acceptable is if Luster was 17 or 18 and Sweetie was in her 20's, and the story was more about issues that happen, and not some normalization of adult/child “relationships” (read:abuse). But she's 11 years old, for Celestia's sake, she's a child, and this is pedophilia! Which was has no place anywhere near the LGBT community, and has used a homophobic/transphobic trope for who knows how long.
And what makes it even more gross is that Sweetie is in a position of authority over Luster. The absolute worst thing she could do is say this kind of love is normal or cool, and she does. I know it isn't the most pressing issue at the moment, but I feel like I should point out that the author was deleting comments critical of the story and its contents, eventually going as far as to disable the comments section entirely. These sorts of blogs are/were the only way for people to describe their disapproval.
Again, this is the least of our concerns at the given moment, but it's best to have all the facts in order before we all start playing the blame game.
