Hey all,
I wanted to give everyone a quick update on Gingerbread House of Cards.
Work has been a bit hellish recently; lots of 10+ hour shifts recently, plus more likely coming up over the next few weeks. Add in that the store/my shift is both understaffed and dealing with a lot of vacations back to back, its safe to say that I'm not going to have a ton of free time to work on Gingerbread. Editing has been slowed to a crawl as a result. After a few chapters where I'm left feeling retroactively unhappy, I want to make sure I'm not putting out something half-assed.
For the time being, the release schedule is being altered to every two weeks for now. That includes this week’s chapter, which is getting pushed to next Thursday.
I feel like I say this often but, sorry for the delay. Things got hectic real quick around here.
Finding the time for writing like this can be hard. I'm pulling for you to find the time and motivation to pull through! I'm looking forward to seeing the fall out of this cliffhanger of a fight you've left us on, but I can be patient. Years of reading fanfiction has taught me to be tolerant of a sporadic update schedule or two... Or a hundred...
