That Feel When Logan Paul Would Beat 99.9% of Men on Earth in a Fight · 11:52pm Jun 8th, 2021
It's hilarious actually
Thought I'd make this blog since many users on here are teens, and since the Mayweather/Paul exhibition was a few days ago. For those of you who don't know, Logan Paul wrestled competitively. In fact, he's deceptively good.
Below is Logan Paul wrestling with UFC Middleweight fighter Paulo Costa. And Paul is holding his own in the wrestling department against one of the best fighters on the entire planet.
Keep in mind Costa is around 230lbs lean here. And while he is primarily a striker, he's still top of the line at wrestling since in MMA you need to be good at everything. Remember, this isn't some unathletic 230lbs bodybuilder, or a 230lbs NFL player. This is a 230lbs trained fighter.
To make it easy to see why I'm confident that Paul beats 99.9% of the planet:
- He's a lean 220lbs and athletic. Around 220 - 250lbs is where weight starts to matter less, since anyone can KO anyone else.
- D1 level wrestling
- Now knows basic boxing
- Submission defense is relatively easy and quick to learn for high level wrestlers
Take it from me, that is a DIFFICULT person to fight against. Which is hilarious because of how many jealous, butthurt adult men I've heard talk about wanting to beat up Logan Paul because he's a rich YouTuber
Also, wrestling is so fun! I can't wait to dive head first into it once my joint issues are fully managed!!!
Wealth doesn't automatically make someone a lightweight.

Eeyup. Especially when the guy wrestled and wanted to do MMA before becoming wealthy.
I'm mostly amused by this because of how many comments I've read by envious, older men about how they'd like to beat up the Paul brothers. If you're gonna be envious, at least own it so it can fuel you to improve.
Oh, grats a 26-year-old beat a 44-year-old man in a completely staged match.

Good job on missing the point.
Logan Paul's wrestling + being an athletic 220lbs already puts him above 99% of guys in a fight as long as he gets just a tiny bit of submission defense. If you want proof, then spar + watch the early UFCs.
As someone who started out boxing, I can confidently say that wrestling > striking, all things being equal. Closing the distance and getting a single takedown are easier than maintaining distance and landing a single KO strike.
