Haywire: Pride Month Teasers

Hey there! I’m here to say that progress on the main Haywire story is underway. And let me tell you… Some big things are to come. Just a little teaser to expect before I start with everything else I wanted to say: Expect that, like Onyx being a byproduct of Starlight and Twilight’s dip in the past, expect a lot of unexpected consequences from many other events the Mane 6 have taken on. But although the Mane 6 have taken a step back, don’t expect them to step off. Twilight and her friends are going to be just as important to both Equestria and Haywire. There’s plenty of stories to tell, like from an Apple adjusting to Ponyville life after moving from Appleloosa, or a fashionista and some new helpers assisting on a trip to Manehattan, or even the Princess of Equestria asking for help from some other Unicorns as they head to Silver Shoals for some Alicorn wisdom. I want to keep Haywire very similar to the structure and title-naming scheme as Friendship is Magic, so expect some wacky hijinks, friendship hugs, and obviously a party or two.

Anyway, onto the main Pride Post. Yep, it’s pride month, and although it’s not been stated yet, but Haywire is going to have major LGBTQ+ tendencies. Obviously safe for work, all kid-friendly, et cetera. Point being, there’s gonna be some unique relationships. Friendship is Magic handled relationships very delicately, given the TV-Y7 status. However, I’m going to be a bit more flexible with how I handle them. And whether established in canon, talked about after the fact, or made directly in Haywire, relationships are gonna be here, there and everywhere. And as for relationships in the Epilogue or other episodes that some people don’t agree with or ship, I am sorry, but I am going to write them the way I perceive the show staff wanted them. Things might get mushy and gushy for the occasional episode, but don’t worry as the relationships won’t take over the entirety of Haywire. I just have a lot of cute plans for these ponies and how they love one another, whether it be platonic or romantic. 

Lastly, I just wanna say how excited I am getting this story out there. I recently got back into MLP(Blame the G5 teasers which have me SOOOO excited! September can’t come soon enough) but I’ve loved MLP since around the end of season 6. So excited to see you all soon with Haywire, set to release sometime this month. My goal is before the 15th, but it’s too early on to assume I’ll even make this month. I’ve had a trouble in the past with giving myself deadlines, so if it takes a bit longer I’m sorry. Regardless, I as well as Starlight, Crimson, Onyx, Skai, Ash and Rosegarden will see you soon! Along the Mane 6 and many new and old friends to come. See ya!
