If you like my The Runaway Bodyguard or any of my Starlight, Songbird, or Sunset stories because of the storytelling, I think you will like Messing with the Wrong Alicorn is Not Optimal. It is written in 1st person from the POV of a 7 1/2 year-old girl who is a Princess Twilight Sparkle fan. Lotus Flower is Neighponese and has a firm understanding of what In Pretend is and is not, and what she means when she wishes, even when a not-thoroughly-tested AI does not. This is straight pony SF. No knowledge of the Optimal-verse is necessary. In fact, since it is not canon to that 'verse, no knowledge would be optimal. I took the idea and ran with it. Oh, right, and I got inspired by a character in Non Non Biyori, and extreme slice-of-life anime. My story has 299 views and 18 👍 as of this posting. I'd like more. Please comment, too.
