I went in to get vaccinated today.
I had a bad reaction afterwards, and the provider at CVS told me that because of this, I won't be needing the second dose. At the time, when I was having the reaction, I was beyond scared. I was still in the store, and it was only two minutes after getting the shot that my body began to weaken. I have no known allergies, and this had never happened to me before. I felt intensely abnormal, and I had to sit down somewhere. I was sweating, and yet I was very cold. The paramedics came quickly, but luckily, the reaction slowly went away after twenty minutes or so of them checking on me. I can barely describe what I was going through at the time. I wasn't dizzy, but my whole body felt wobbly. Since then, I'm just so thankful that I haven't had any other noticeable side effects.
That's terrible! :O That actually sounds like what I went through after my second shot, but that didn't happen until at least 12 hours after I got it.
Glad you're doing better now. :B
Im glad you are doing better, glad you got the vaccine, and glad you dont need a second dose. Stay safe
Glad you are doing better. Outside of cold/flu like symptoms, allergic reactions are the most common side effect. That's why they had you wait 20-30 minuets before leaving. Thankfully these reactions still rare but obviously not for you.
