    "New" Story and New Group

I'm starting to write a new story, or not really. It will actually be a compilation of stories in the universe of UME. Tales From The Omniverse. More than a compilation, this is a group made by Cyrus Colter there. In this group, people will be able to post their Tales happening in UME's universes.

    Sizes Precision

With A Sweetie Dream Land's rewriting, I have changed some sizes.

As of the starts of A Sweetie Dream Land, Kirby was 20cm tall. A Waddle Dee is about 30cm, Dedede, about one meter, Meta Knight, over 30cm (maybe 35cm, not sure yet), and Sweetie Void, about 50cm.

By the time of The Forgotten Land, Kirby is 30cm tall, and Sweetie is about 60cm.

    Rewriting A Sweetie Dreamland

I'm going to start to rewrite A Sweetie Dreamland, essentially to change the verb tenses. I'm also going to change "Dreamland" to "Dream Land", maybe change a few lines here and there, and so on. I don't know how long it will take, but I think that I should be done before the end of February.

Chapter ??: Genocide Buster Part 3 · 6:56pm May 20th, 2021

Frisk walked out of the rift, Sweetie Belle on her shoulder, shrunken, no bigger than a newborn foal.

She wanted to hug the filly so badly, but she resisted. Sweetie Belle had asked her help, so it wasn't the time.

She eyed Chara, not without some apprehension.

She knew how strong Chara was. In her home dimension, Chara, along with Sweetie Belle, Sans, and a few others, fought a lot of humans attempting to harm the monsters, revealing her magical prowess as well as her... murderous side, especially at the beginning when the monsters just got out. More than once, Frisk and the others had to stop her from killing someone.

Chara really hated the humans... But thankfully, it dampened with time, and with the help of the love of her family.

But she was still the first to jump into a fight when the situation called for it, even if she was now less violent.

To put it simply, Chara was the monsters' Sword.

And now, Frisk was about to fight said Sword sharpened by LOVE and possessing no inhibition. This Chara will have no remorse murdering her, like he had no remorse murdering the monsters and making this Frisk suffer.

Or this was what it looked, but Frisk refused to believe that this Chara didn't still have some love, at least some for the Dreemurrs deep down in his SOUL. The monsters who took him in, who made him a part of their family when he had nowhere to go, no hope left, no will to live anymore...

Frisk hoped to bring this love back out. And Sweetie Belle hoped that she will succeed.

This was why Sweetie Belle came to ask her help.

And the filly was very clear. If THIS didn't work...

Well...

Sweetie Belle didn't say what she would do, but Frisk at least understood that it would be very BAD for Chara.

Meanwhile, Sweetie Belle dismissed the clone that she had sent to keep Chara occupied, letting the boy rest and finally remark Frisk's presence.

"So this is your last plan?" he asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Yup!" Sweetie confirmed with a nod. "I clearly can't convince you to stop. I'm more a filly of action than of words, but when kicking your butt over and over doesn't work and you're too stubborn, or determined, to listen, then I have no choice than to bring out the big gun: Frisk. If someone is good at knowing what to do to stop someone from fighting without bloodshed, it's her."

"And you really think that this Frisk will succeed where my Frisk failed?"

"Well, yes. After all, contrary to your Frisk, she never harmed anybody, so you have no reason to not listen to her. Also, she knows you better, having lived at your side for a few months. After all, in her universe, you're her mommy."

Chara groaned. "I don't think that I will ever get used to it..."

This made Frisk giggle. "You will." She then took a more serious expression. "Sweetie Belle told me everything. It... scares me to see how things would have gone if... if she hadn't appeared..."

"So you admit that you would have become like my Frisk if things had happened differently?" Chara asked.

"Yes... Knowing myself... In the hope of saving Asriel... I would have probably ended up doing this too..."

Just thinking about it made her teary eyed, but she quickly composed herself as she smiled at Chara.

"But it never happened and it will never happen."

"Good for you. Too bad my Frisk couldn't settle like you," Chara said with a mocking shrug. "But are you sure that you want to try to... talk me down? I can feel that I still have control over the timeline. If I kill you, you won't be able to LOAD like in your universe. You will be dead. For good. Return to your universe, and forget about this one."

Frisk looked at Sweetie Belle who nodded back at her. This filled her with Determination, and she stared back at Chara. "I won't die. And I won't return to my universe yet. Not until this universe is saved. Not until everybody in it is saved. And this includes the Frisk of this universe... and you."

Chara smiled creepily, and several red knives materialized around him. "I don't need to be saved."

Frisk glanced briefly at Sweetie Belle again before she replied, "You need. Trust me, you need to be saved."

Chara answered with a scoff before he sent the knives toward Frisk who expertly dodged them. More knives came, in greater number, but Frisk still dodged them. But then, as Frisk was busy dodging the red knives, Chara suddenly rushed toward her and swung his knife. Frisk saw him at the last second...

And a red golden flower suddenly materialized in the path of the knife and blocked it like a shield.

Chara didn't seem that shocked to see Frisk using magic.

"So you learned to use magic? I guess that I should have expected this since you now live with the Dreemurrs."

Frisk giggled as she rubbed her flower necklace with a certain red orb.

"I actually cheated. I found this Magicord and I could do magic as if I had done it my whole life... Uh... Since I was just one day old back then, I think that this phrasing doesn't work. You see what I mean!"

Chara actually frowned at this, looking annoyed. "So you are telling me that you were able to get your hands on the red orb behind that door in the room with the piano puzzle? My Frisk was never able to! That stupid mutt always came and took it under his nose! And even when I intervened, I failed to take it!"

Frisk smirked. "Well... Doggone it."

Sweetie Belle made the badumtss soundtrack, and Sans laughed while Apple Bloom rolled her eyes, Scootaloo groaned, and Chara... didn't react.

"Geese... Tough crowd, huh?" Frisk asked.

"You spent too much time with Sans, Frisk," Sweetie Belle said.

"And my Chara, and Grandma Toriel, and you when you were-"

Frisk interrupted herself to materialise another flower to intercept Chara's knife as he suddenly swung again. Chara attacked several more time only for Frisk to either shield herself or to dodge not unlike Sans earlier. After a while, Chara sent more of the red knives while still attacking with the normal one, and Frisk countered by materializing a flower that fired seeds at them, destroying them.

Then, a vine wrapped itself around Chara's right ankle, almost causing him to fall and stopping his assault. However, he quickly used one of the red knives to slice it, freeing himself. This still left enough time for Frisk to gain some space to plan what to do, and what to say to Chara to convince him to stop.

She started by forcing him to retreat by sending more vines. He first sliced a few with his knife, but seeing their number, he eventually jumped back and instead decided to attack by sending his sharp waves of red energy. They cut the vines more effectively, but Frisk avoided them either by sidestepping the vertical ones or by jumping over or ducking under the horizontal ones, depending of their height.

One came that she couldn't avoid in time however, a diagonal one.

And she made a vine suddenly shoot out to pierce the wave, breaking it apart.

Chara was impressed. "You are good. It's... as if you already fought me."

Frisk gave a bright smile at the praise. "Thanks! My Chara trained me hard!"

"Hehe, I guess that explains this."

Chara proceeded to continue his attacks by sending red knives and red waves in various patterns that Frisk avoided or destroyed.

"I'm one of the favorite targets of the monster haters," Frisk began. "You know, because I'm a human living with the royal family of the monsters. So Chara made sure that I could protect myself. Almost everyday, as soon as we had the occasion, she led me into the forest where she spent several hours training me. She... She really cares about me, despite her tough exterior."

Chara remained silent, continuing his attacks.

"Training is not everything we do together however. We spend a lot of time gardening with grandpa Asgore. It's really relaxing. She also taught me how to bake with Asriel's help. Well, actually, I asked her for this. She didn't want at first because of the... buttercup pie incident, but I managed to convince her. She's actually rather good. But I think that Asriel is the best baker of the two."

"Why not simply ask Toriel? She's the master baker of the Underground," Chara wondered.

"Because I wanted to spend time with Chara and Asriel. But if it can reassure you, Toriel was watching us to make sure that no accident would happen, and she helped when it came time to use the oven."

Chara surrounded Frisk with knives, the toy ones, to limit her movements before he sent several more red waves that were all destroyed like before.

"Gardening with Asgore, baking with Toriel, playing with Asriel... Don't you miss all this? The hugs? The love?" Frisk asked.

Frisk watched carefully Chara's face to see if her words had had any reactions. This Chara wasn't her Chara, but he was still Chara, and after living with her a few months, she more or less learned to read her. Chara tried to hide it with that creepy smile, but Frisk saw for a fraction of a second in his eyes longing and hesitation. However, in a blink, they disappeared.

Literally, his eyes became black and began to leak a black stuff.

In Frisk's mind, these were like the eyes of a demon, full of hate, of malice, and of sadism.

"No. I don't care about these trivialities anymore," he said in a dark growl before he closed the toy knives surrounding her on her.

Frisk quickly put herself in a cocoon of vines that stopped the knives, only for the ground under her feet to glow red, immediately understanding that red knives will come out of it and she will have to jump.

But she may not be able to jump high enough, and she didn't have time to move out of the way.

Sweetie Belle became worried for a short moment and thought to intervene.

But she didn't need to worry in the end.

Frisk grinned, and suddenly, her SOUL turned blue before she jumped just before the knives came out of the ground. She jumped as if she was on the Moon and landed a few meters in front of a gawking Chara (that didn't have the black stuff anymore), and she smiled smugly at him.

"You can use the Blue SOUL Mode?" Sweetie Belle exclaimed in wonder.

Frisk giggled and nodded. "Chara recruited the others after a while to help me."

Sweetie Belle whistled, understanding what she wasn't saying by using the word "others."

"She really went all out to ensure that no jerk would harm you."

"She's taking her role of mother very seriously."

She then jumped to the right, barely avoiding a giant glove almost punching her. She then jumped left to avoid a giant ballerina shoe almost crushing her. Finally, Chara attacked directly with his knife, and Frisk had to duck to avoid the swing before she turned Chara's SOUL blue and sent him on the wall at the beginning of the room, beside the Save Point.

Already very used to this thanks to Sans, Chara quickly recovered and rushed back toward Frisk while sending red knives and hateful words from two magically materialized notebooks. But Frisk then turned Chara's SOUL green, stopping him right there and leaving her to worry only about the projectiles that she dodged or destroyed. Her SOUL eventually turned yellow, but instead of grabbing it, she gathered yellow energy in her hands before she fired two powerful yellow projectiles at the notebooks, destroying the two of them in one shot.

"Sweetie Belle could give you your own body. You wouldn't have to possess this Frisk anymore. You would be able to live peacefully with the Dreemurrs again, even with Asriel, without forgetting Frisk. You would never be alone again."

Frisk took an object out of one of her pockets and revealed it to be a heart locket like the one that Chara possessed. She showed it to Chara before she opened it, showing to him that there was a heart-shaped photo inside with Frisk, Chara, and Asriel in a group hug while facing the camera. A music box integrated in the locket started to play a certain song.

"You, Asriel, and Frisk could be a family, Best Friends Forever," she continued before she took a sadder expression. "I understand that your Frisk did horrible things, and in return, you did horrible things to him and to the others... But... You can still have this happy ending."

Chara scoffed before he used the gun to fire at Frisk several times. Seeing the gun, Frisk turned her SOUL purple and created several purple magical threads. Thanks to her purple SOUL, she was able to move from thread to thread almost simultaneously, very close to teleporting, letting her dodge the bullets.

"I don't need a happy ending. I'm not asking for one. And this Frisk certainly doesn't deserve one after killing all these monsters. All I need... All I want... is power."

Frisk frowned as she had to avoid fire sent from a frying pan like a flamethrower. She used the Blue Mode for this, sending herself to the ceiling to be out of reach of the flames.

"Sweetie told me that you want power to stop suffering... I guess that... you suffered a lot, uh? My Chara never told me, or anyone, about her life before the Underground, but it isn't hard to guess that you had a terrible life... Was... was it because your parents beat you? Or at least one of them?"

Chara stiffened, indicating to Frisk that she got it right. But then, the black eyes and the black stuff returned, and with a snarl, Chara attacked with his seven weapons at once, his attacks becoming very intense and difficult to avoid even with the SOUL modes. Frisk got hit, several times, but only minor injuries that were quickly healed with green seeds.

"It isn't just this however, uh?" Frisk eventually asked. "That hate of humanity wouldn't come from just your parents. Were you bullied? Did you have a friend who betrayed you? Asriel doesn't count."

The attacks stopped as Chara suddenly became immobile, looking down, teeth clenched as all the black stuff disappeared again.

"You want to know? Fine! I will tell you!" he then shouted before he sent dozens of red waves in very quick succession. "My mother died when giving birth to me!" Red knives rained all over the hall. "After that, my father became a drunkard! But at least, he took care of me! But the, as I grew, I apparently began to look like my mother, and this drove my father crazy!" Giant knives came out from under Frisk, forcing her to use the Blue Mode again and again. "He started to treat me like trash! "Stop looking like her!" he said as he punched me! "Stop making me suffer!" he said as he kicked me in the belly! It's not like I had a say in how I looked!" Two giant notebooks almost crushed Frisk. "And after a few months of this, he began to blame me for her death! "It's your fault that she's dead!" "You should never have been born!" Father of the year, right?" He gave a bitter laugh at this before he sent ballerina shoes in a deathly dance to crush Frisk. "Then, one day, it got really bad, and I thought that I was about to die. Desperate, I grabbed a knife..." He pointed his knife toward his heart (not his SOUL). "and planted it right there. He spent his last moments strangling me, calling me a demon."

Frisk felt chills. So Chara killed before coming to the Underground? In retrospect, it wasn't surprising then that he/she had so little scruples killing humans to get their SOULs and break the Barrier. Even when you hate someone or something, killing is a whole other matter, especially for a child. His/Her LOVE was already above 1.

And she had the feeling that it was just the beginning.

At this point, Chara stopped attacking, his eyes closing as he lost himself in his past.

"I ran away, and I discovered the wonderful world of the streets. I won't bother you with every little tales of my misadventures in them, just know that what happened with my father pretty much continued in there. I was hurt a lot... and I hurt a lot. It was hell... And nobody cared. Anybody could have just extended a hand to help me, but nobody came. My only escapes were the library and the patch of golden flowers in the center of the village. And eventually, I decided that it wasn't worth living for this, and I wanted to disappear. So I went to Mt. Ebott... and you know the rest. The monsters took me in, and in return, I got in my head the stupid idea of giving up my life for them. But in the end, it was for naught... Again, I was hurt... and I ended up hurting them... Asriel dying... Mom and dad separating... The monsters losing hope... And the next thing I knew, I was in someone else's head and I could only watch as said person killed the monsters. And the power filling me at each kill... It felt so nice... I felt so guilty at first but..."

Chara's creepy face suddenly returned again, with the black eyes and the black stuff.

"Since I am so good at hurting others, then I should as well continue! And continue to gain this wonderful power of LOVE to ensure that I will never, NEVER be hurt ever again! I would stop caring for others and only care for myself! I would become what my father called me: a demon! THIS will be my happy ending! After all, in this world, it's kill or be killed, and nothing would be better for me than to remain the killer."

Frisk stared at Chara with a perfect poker face, not saying anything as he finished.

"So? You still think you can 'save' me?" Chara asked.

Without a word, Frisk grabbed Sweetie Belle from her shoulder and placed her on the ground. Then, she began to walk toward Chara, not stopping looking at him and keeping her silent poker face.

This surprised the boy. He hadn't been expecting that.

"What are you doing?"

Frisk continued to advance.

"You know you will just die if you continue to approach me, right? Are you suicidal?"

She continued.

"Fine! I don't care anyway! Die!"

Chara began by sending red energy waves that were promptly destroyed by vines, and Frisk continued to approach, still with that poker face.

He stepped back.

"Damn it! Say something! Show something! Why are you approaching me?!"

He sent everything he had, the red knives, the toy knives, the gloves, the shoes, the notebook, the frying pan, the gun... But with the help of the SOUL Modes, Frisk avoided or destroyed most of them, and the few hits she took were healed with green seeds. She didn't even show pain in these cases.

Meanwhile, Chara continued to step back, only for his SOUL to turn green, stopping him.

He swung his knife at her as she got in range, but she dodged it before a vine wrapped itself around his wrist, stopping him from using the knife again. A red knife materialized in his left hand and he swung again only to be stopped by a flower before his left wrist was wrapped by a second vine.

Another red knife sliced the vine holding the right wrist.

But before he could attack, Frisk wrapped him in a hug.

He was so shocked by this that he simply stopped moving.

Then, she heard her beginning to cry before she said, "I'm so sorry..."

This got Chara out of his shock, and the eyes returned to normal. "Are you... serious?!"

"You... You aren't a demon, Chara!" Frisk managed between sobs.

"You really think so? Allow me to prove to you the contrary!" Chara countered as he raised his knife behind Frisk's back.

Sweetie Belle readied herself to intervene.

Frisk then began to rub his back, which froze Chara again.

She then took her locket again and opened it, making it play the song.

"You are not a demon," she repeated. "You are one of the most wonderful, most caring person I know. You have so much love for others, to the point that you sacrificed your life for the ones you care. But each time that you loved someone, it ended badly for that person and for you. Life has been unfair to you. But... But I promise you... You can still be happy with the monsters. Toriel and Asgore would welcome you back with open arms and joy. Asriel... He still loves you despite everything. Even as Flowey, he still cares about you despite not having a SOUL anymore. You still have a loving family, and you have the occasion to return to them."

Between the rubbing, the song, Frisk's words, and the memories they were bringing back, Chara was beginning to struggle with his emotions, his body shaking.

"N-no... I won't!" he shouted firmly, teeth clenched. "I... don't need them! I'm very good alone!"

"Are you really? Doesn't the loneliness... hurt too?"

"Stop that!"

"You think that this power of LOVE will protect you from the hurting, but it's just making it worse. Exterminating the people that welcomed you... Lying to yourself that you don't care about them anymore... It only causes your heart to ache, without stopping. And there is no greater pain than a heartache."

"Stop... Please..."

"You may not feel it, buried under lies, hate, LOVE... Hidden behind the most solid dam in the world... But I know that it is here. And no dam, no matter their solidity, is eternal. Eventually, it will break... And then..."

"I... don't want... to..." Chara was losing the battle as said dam was already cracking, getting tears in his eyes.

Which was contrary to Frisk whose emotions were calming despite still feeling sad for Chara. "The path you are taking will only result in what you want to avoid in the long term. Please, give up LOVE, and give another chance to love. My Chara did, and she is the happiest she has ever been." Frisk moved her head away from Chara to look at him in the eyes with the most loving expression she could give as the locket continued to play the song. "You won't regret it. I promise."

She grabbed Chara's own heart locket and opened it, revealing the photo inside it. The photo was of Asriel and Chara, both holding a bouquet of flowers. the human had his face hidden behind his. Behind them were Toriel and Asgore, but the top of their bodies couldn't be seen.

"Despite everything, you still love them. Or else, you wouldn't have this locket with you."

The dam finally broke.

And Chara knelt, breaking into a mess of tears and sobs. His knife dropped on the ground behind Frisk.

Frisk knelt with him, hugging him again while whispering soothing words, and this time, he returned it.

Their SOULs returned inside them.

Sweetie Belle sighed in relief, discreetly using her magic to make the knife disappear.

"welp, seems like she did it. to be frank, i had heavy doubts," she heard Sans say as he approached from behind with Apple Bloom and Scootaloo.

"I admit that I had some too," Sweetie Belle replied. "But I knew that she had a chance to succeed."

"So, what now?" Apple Bloom asked.

"Now, we let them have their moment before we have a talk. There is still the case of Frisk, the one of this dimension, to discuss. Then, he must RESET to bring everyone back. After that, I will do like in the other dimension: I will help Frisk in his adventure, break the Barrier, give Chara a body and Asriel a SOUL, and finally help the monsters to integrate with the humans. Will you want to keep your memories of this timeline?" the alicorn asked Sans.

"well, one of us will need to keep an eye on Frisk and Chara once you will be gone, and for this, i will need my memories so i can remember what they can do," the skeleton answered.

Sweetie Belle nodded before she looked at Apple Bloom and Scootaloo. "Will you want to join me in freeing the monsters after the RESET?"

"Of course!" Apple Bloom answered.

"You shouldn't even need to ask this question," Scootaloo said.

Later, after what felt like hours but actually were just a few minutes, Chara calmed down.

"Can... Sniff! Can I really...?"

Frisk nodded firmly. "You will see. Everything will be alright."

"Once you RESET," Sweetie Belle finally decided to step in, gaining the attention of the two humans. "I'm really glad that Frisk managed to convince you to stop this folly, Chara. I really didn't want to do what I had planned to do if she had failed."

"What... did you have planned?" Chara hesitantly asked.

"You don't want to know," Sweetie Belle answered with a creepy smile and empty eyes.

Chara gulped. "C-come on. I think it's good for me to know how screwed I would have been if I had continued."

Sweetie Belle put a hoof under her chin in thought. "I suppose that you need an incentive to definitively convince you that this path would only lead to a life of eternal suffering for you."

And in a blink, Chara found himself with his SOUL out again with a claw of darkness coming from Sweetie Belle's right foreleg ready to tear it off. It took a few seconds for his mind to catch up with what happened, and he could only look down in horror and panic at the claw around his SOUL.

"I could have ended this fight before it would have even started. I could have absorbed your SOUL right there, right now, without giving it time to break for you to LOAD. You would have ended up trapped in my mind alongside Frisk, at my mercy. For. E. Ver." the filly then gave Chara her sweetest smile. "Lucky you that I am such a nice Goddess-in-the-making."

Chara became very pale. Frisk gave the filly a deadpan look, and Sans externally kept his cool while he internally both was creeped out by Sweetie Belle and amused by Chara's expression.

"Okay, you can put away this claw. I think he gets it," Scootaloo said with a grin.

Sweetie Belle did so with a giggle.

"Sometimes, ya creep even me out, Sweetie. And yet, Ah saw some very nightmarish stuff," Apple Bloom commented.

That last part of the fight gave me hell! I'm definitively more a writer of action than a writer of feels. Especially something as complicated as what I just wrote. I'm not even sure if it came out alright. I guess that this blog will be a crash test.

We will end there with this second Undertale. No need to reveal what comes next. You will have to wait for the chapters to come out in the story itself.

Hey,now hear me out;what if....Asgore,Celestia,and Peach found a Tea Club?they will just sit here, with tea and Cakes, indly chatting and sharing Tales, and playing stuff like chess and checkers.and later on,there can be other characters joining them like palutena or Rhea.

I don't think this would have any relebance in the main story,But it's sure sounds fun.what Do you think Lucar?

but nobody came

You can't have the Genocide Route without these three words.

Sweetie Belle answered with a creepy smile and empty eyes

Given the character involved, I'm at least 90% sure that "empty eyes" actually means the space her eyes should be occupying ceased to exist. Because that's part of her portfolio as an alicorn.

I'm definitively more a writer of action than a writer of feels.

And then you decided to adapt Undertale's Pacifist route, where the main character responds to violence with feels. Because YOLO (unless you're Frisk/Chara).

Frisk glanced briefly at Sweetie Belle again before she replied, "You need. Trust me, you need to be saved."

Sounds like a grate side story to me.

Did chara give back your pen yet?

Yeah, it would be a nice stuff to see.

Exactly. Her eyes become void, literally. Decided to copy Sans because it was cool and worked well in intimidating her enemies.

And then you decided to adapt Undertale's Pacifist route, where the main character responds to violence with feels. Because YOLO (unless you're Frisk/Chara).

The Pacifist didn't have anything as heavy as what happened here, excepted maybe Frisk discovering her true nature and feeling guilty about what the humans did to the monsters. But they didn't felt as difficult.

The first one isn't an error. And what did you mean in your third message?

it was good to watch I liked it.

1:I wonder which one between Apple Bloom or Scootaloo will challenge undyne
2: Apple Bloom should seek to find Mount Ebott in his world and find out how he got locked up.
3: I can't wait to see the continuation of U.M.E (ultimate multiverse explorers) good luck:twilightsheepish:

5522348
When are you going to add this to your main story?

5658655
Soon enough. During the second Saga. Not sure yet exactly when.
