I was recently notified that Thomas HD Classics, a YouTube channel specialising in restored Thomas episodes, has been terminated for copyright infringement.
If we needed a confirmation of how little regard Mattel has for the fans then this is it. Make no mistake. Mattel doesn't give a shit about Thomas, or the fans, or the quality of their product. All they care about is money.
They think they can make us run in fear and hide. They are wrong. Let them come. The little people can do big things, so let's show them we aren't frightened.
Mattel, you're a big bully. You'll be sorry you messed with us.

If Thomas and the Magic Railroad hadn't bombed HiT Entertainment, and by extension Mattel, would never have gotten their hands on the franchise.

I feel like this is giving me thoughts about EA and Need for Speed.
Most new nfs games have some sort of required internet to play which A is a load of Bullshit and B can’t they make story driven nfs game that can be played offline like how they did with the original most wanted and Carbon?
It’s just annoying that people and companies like Mattel exist and ruin franchises or disallow the old episodes to be watch, the only good company that actually interacts with the fans to some point is the sonic franchise and I might as well say this the same goes to the fnaf franchise as the creator himself is actually helping the Fnaf fan games.

Who needs YouTube to watch anything. You can still find the old episodes if you know where to look and screw the restored versions! They are done badly anyway. The proper title of the show is Thomas THE TANK ENGINE and Friends, not just Thomas And Friends. I’ve always hated that. It’s like they are ashamed of him being a Tank Engine.

Thomas HD Classics handled restoration separate of Mattel. Their uploads were 1080p, 16:9, and featured restored audio. Features Mattel wouldn't use, for some reason.
You know, if I worked at Mattel and caught wind of somebody restoring old episodes of one of the company-owned properties, I would hire that guy and re-release the updated vintage show that he helped make. That way, everyone wins.

that's a shame i had watched some of the older episodes and it's a shame the channel's been terminated. of course i'm not really excited for the new revival now a days i mostly collect some of the products from bachmann trains cause i have a small collection of their products and i really like them. and i may get hate but the one thing i've been buying from mattal is matchbox cars (i've started to collect matchbox cars again as a new collecting thing for me) i hope they will change their way with how they're handing thomas these days.
