    "New" Story and New Group

I'm starting to write a new story, or not really. It will actually be a compilation of stories in the universe of UME. Tales From The Omniverse. More than a compilation, this is a group made by Cyrus Colter there. In this group, people will be able to post their Tales happening in UME's universes.

    Sizes Precision

With A Sweetie Dream Land's rewriting, I have changed some sizes.

As of the starts of A Sweetie Dream Land, Kirby was 20cm tall. A Waddle Dee is about 30cm, Dedede, about one meter, Meta Knight, over 30cm (maybe 35cm, not sure yet), and Sweetie Void, about 50cm.

By the time of The Forgotten Land, Kirby is 30cm tall, and Sweetie is about 60cm.

    Rewriting A Sweetie Dreamland

I'm going to start to rewrite A Sweetie Dreamland, essentially to change the verb tenses. I'm also going to change "Dreamland" to "Dream Land", maybe change a few lines here and there, and so on. I don't know how long it will take, but I think that I should be done before the end of February.

Chapter ??: Genocide Buster Part 1 · 2:48pm May 2nd, 2021

Author's note: I decided to post the first part of the chapter now because I thought that you had waited enough. It is really taking longer than I thought it would. Getting an inflammation in the throat didn't help.

Part of the chapter is pretty much a rewriting of the preview I posted long ago, just to warn.

The fight itself will be in the next part. I don't know how long it will be. I still can't decide if it will have three phases or four phases.

The rift dropped the three fillies on what quickly revealed to be the roof of a skyscraper in the middle of a city.

"Okay. Now let's see what this world has for... Uh?" Sweetie got silent when she spotted, not far in the distance, a familiar mountain. Having lived at the foot of the mountain for a whole month, she could easily recognize it.

She smiled. "Woah! What are the chances? Mount Ebott! Again!"

"Ya recognize this place?" Apple Bloom asked.

"Yup. I already went to an alternate version of this universe. I had a nice, fun adventure, made a lot of friends, and helped freeing a whole civilization trapped under that very mountain," Sweetie Belle recounted before she put a hoof under her chin in thought. "Mmh... I wonder if they're already freed in this universe... Darn, I would have loved to arrive at the time of the war to stop the humans from trapping them."

"And who are "them"?" Scootaloo asked.

"Monsters. Friendly ones," Sweetie Belle answered before she explained with a scoff. "Humans imprisoned them under the mountain because the monsters could absorb their SOULs to become more powerful. I understand that fear, but the monsters are just too nice to do this in normal time. Even the jerk ones are lovable. Beside, the monsters are also very weak compared to the humans. The humans were just idiots."

Scootaloo rolled her eyes. "When aren't they? So I take it we're going to free the monsters if it's not already done?"

"Yup! I refuse to leave them under that mountain! I will teleport us to the entrance."

Sweetie Belle immediately did so, and they appeared beside the hole that served as the entrance to the Ruin, where everything began. In less than one second, she felt the presence of the Barrier.

"Mmh... Barrier still present. This means that they're still trapped."

"Wowee! That's some powerful magic right there! Ah can feel it!" Apple Bloom exclaimed.

"Me too," Scootaloo said with a frown. "I don't think that I could destroy it even with my powers."

"Normal. We need to be the equivalent of a God to destroy it. And for this, we would need to absorb human SOULs. A monster would need to absorb seven. I personally only needed to absorb two to reach the needed power."

Sweetie Belle received some stares at this.

"I didn't need to kill anyone!" she quickly corrected. "The monsters had already gotten their hands on six human SOULs. I just had to take them."

"Wait, so you mean that, in this universe, we would just need to kill a bunch of humans to become Gods? It would be THAT easy?" Scootaloo asked.

Sweetie Belle answered with a nod.

"... Do you imagine how a multiversal civilization could abuse of this?"

"Yeah... But there's nothing we can do. Also, maybe that the effects of the SOUL absorption are only limited to this universe and its alternate versions."

"Ah hope so..." Apple Bloom said.

Sweetie Belle looked back at the hole and smirked. "The last one at the bottom is a snail! Geronimo!" she shouted before she jumped in the hole as if she was doing a cannonball at a pool.

She landed on the bed of golden flowers without receiving any scratch only to find out that Apple Bloom and Scootaloo were already present, the two of them giving her a smug smile.

"Ya should've said "no teleportation" Miss Snail," Apple Bloom said before giving Scootaloo a hoofbump.

Sweetie Belle gave a huff but couldn't stop a smile. "You're no fun. Now, Apple Bloom, there is normally a body buried under these flowers. Can you verify if it's still here?" she asked. Upon seeing the weird look she got in return, she quickly said "Long story."

Apple Bloom shrugged. "Okay."

Turning into her ghost form, Apple Bloom phased through the ground under the flowers. A couple of seconds later, she came out and shook her head.

"Nothing. Not even a bone."

"So we arrive right when Frisky is awake..." Again... Writer, are you already running out of material? Or do you want Bloom and Scoot to live through the same adventure as me to see how they will react? Unless you have something else planned? I'm almost afraid to discover what.

"So there's a zombie running around?" Apple Bloom asked.

"Uh... Not a zombie. It's... complicated. Let's advance. I will explain on the way. Oh and Scoot. If monsters attack you, please, don't attack them in return."

Sweetie Belle quickly understood that something was wrong when they found the remains of the dummy. Frisk had told her that Toriel had made her talk to the dummy, not fight it. Frisk had no reason to destroy it. And yet, here it was, in pieces.

Then, in that room with all the spikes, they found a pile of dust...

And Sweetie Belle really hoped that it was just a pile of dust and not what she was thinking it was.

But more piles of dust followed this one...

And not a single monster was in sight.

The most dust she saw, the more her mood dropped, and when she explained to Scootaloo and Apple Bloom what the dust may be, their mood also dropped.

No monsters but piles of dust everywhere. It wasn't hard to put two and two together even if Sweetie Belle still hoped deep down that she was wrong.

But then, they reached Toriel's house, also empty, and they found a big pile of dust before the door to the exit of the Ruins.

A pile of dust with a familiar purple robe, which had a big gash.

This confirmed her fear... Or it was a very, very bad joke.

Anger filling her eyes, she blasted her way right through the two doors leading out of the Ruins without warning, not hearing Apple Bloom yelling "Hey! Wait for us!"

Snowdin quickly revealed to be the same spectacle. She saw more and more piles of dust on the path, some of which had clothes and accessories she recognized like Doggo's pink shirt or Lesser Dog's armor with the shield and the sword, without forgetting the Ice Caps' hats or the Chilldrakes' sunglasses. Even that defenseless Snowman had been destroyed.

When she reached Snowdin Town, she found it entirely empty. Thankfully, there were no piles of dust, so they probably evacuated before the massacre could happen.

But then, in the clearing outside of the town where she and Frisk fought Papyrus, she found another pile of dust with a certain chest plate and a certain orange cape.

She stopped to look at it, not believing what she was seeing.

Even Papyrus... Probably the most innocent cinnamon roll in the world... Even him was killed...

Why...? Just... Why...?

Apple Bloom and Scootaloo caught up to her at this moment. But before they could ask anything, she teleported the three of them directly at New Home.

There, too, the streets were empty, but judging by the absence of dust, the city had evacuated too.

She then guided them to Asgore's house where she found the chain normally blocking the access to the stairs unlocked, confirming that Frisk had already passed by here.

However, before they could advance further, the world turned black. The next thing Sweetie knew, she was back in Snowdin, in front of Papyrus' dust, alone again.

"What the..."

Apple Bloom and Scootaloo then joined her again.

"Sweetie Belle, could you avoid leaving us in the dust... Huh... No bad pun intended," Scootaloo said.

"Girls... Do you remember that I just teleported us to the monsters' capital?" Sweetie Belle asked.

"Uh?" Apple Bloom and Scootaloo exchanged a look before they both shook their head.

"So that was a RELOAD..." Sweetie Belle immediately concluded before a smirk appeared on her muzzle. "Seems like someone is having a bad time. And it seems that I retain my memories when this happens. It must be thanks to my time as a God in the other universe."

"What are you talking about?" Scootaloo asked.

Sweetie Belle stared sadly at Papyrus' dust before sighing. Then, she looked back at her friends. The next instant, both Scootaloo and Apple Bloom flashed.

"There. Now you will remember everything if the RELOAD happens again. Darn... I really need to get better with my time powers. It was difficult. To put it simply, in this world exists a power that allows its user to SAVE their progress and to LOAD back to that SAVE if they want, rewinding time back to it. Like a video game. Even if that person dies, they just have to RELOAD and they will be as good as new. And of course, since time is rewound, then most people don't remember whatever happens between the SAVE and the RELOAD. And it seems that only one person in the whole world can use this power at once. The one with the most Determination."

Scootaloo groaned, rubbing her face with a hoof. "And let me guess. The one responsible for this..." She waved at the pile of dust that had been Papyrus. "is the one now possessing this power?"

Sweetie Belle sighed again. "Yeah..." She still didn't understand. Why would Frisk...? Of course, this wasn't the same Frisk than the one she knew. These weren't the same monsters, the same Toriel, the same Papyrus... But she still felt incomprehension and betrayal. And anger. A LOT of anger. She wanted to find Frisk, to punch her in the face until all her teeth were knocked off, and ask her why she did this. Why such a sweet, innocent child would go on a murderous rampage and kill all these monsters? And of course, force her to RESET to bring everyone back. But she was also scared. After all, if this Frisk could do this, then the Frisk she knew could do it too.

But there was no way. The last time she saw her, Frisk was happy with her family at the surface. There was no way she would throw all this in the trash like that.

But this Frisk... What happened?

Well, the best way to know was to get the information from the human's mouth. They had to find Frisk.

One thing was certain, she was in New Home, somewhere after Asgore's house. Then, there were three possibilities. Either she was in the Judgement Hall, she was in the throne room, or she was in front of the Barrier. The throne room was their best bet thanks to Asgore.

Who else could give Frisk a bad time than the powerful king of the monsters?

"I think that I know where she is. I will teleport us in front of the throne room, in the capital."

"But wait. How will we stop someone who can rewind time at will?" Apple Bloom asked.

"I have several ideas," Sweetie Belle answered with a smile that said that these ideas will definitively make Frisk regret what she did.

Then they teleported to the hallway leading to the throne room, not far of its entrance. Sweetie Belle then motioned for Apple Bloom and Scootaloo to remain silent as she silently went to look at the throne room from behind the wall. There, she saw Asgore looking down at who she recognised was Flowey crying. The flower was pleading him to take the six human SOULs, but the king remained grimly silent.

Darn, if even Floweywas in this state, then the situation must be really bad.

Sweetie Belle returned to her friends and whispered, "Frisk is not here yet, so she must be in the Judgment Hall, over there." She pointed toward where the hallway turned left.

With a nod, they all moved and followed the hallway. Before long, they began to hear sounds, and soon enough, they reached the entrance to the Judgment Hall.

Before entering, Sweetie Belle used a Notice-Me-Not spell on the three of them, not wanting yet to be spotted.

Then they entered the hall.

Just in time to see Frisk being disintegrated by a powerful laser beam fired from the mouth of some kind of skull. A dragon skull maybe?

Frisk's SOUL immediately broke, and the next instant, the world turned black. This time, Sweetie Belle ensured that she and her friends weren't brought back to Snowdin.

When the world returned, they were still at the end of the hall, and they could see Frisk at the other end, beside a box and, Sweetie could now see, a sparkling yellow star. A Save Point.

Frisk then advanced, and the more she approached, the more Sweetie could see details about this version of her friend.

She was holding Chara's worn dagger as well as the locket around her neck. She had some dust on her clothes, and a lot of it on her hands and shoes. Her eyes were shadowed by her hair as she looked a little downward, and her mouth didn't show any emotion.

When she reached a certain point, she stopped as, suddenly, Sans was present in front of her.

"hmm. that expression... that's the expression of someone who's died twice in a row. suffice to say, you look really... unsatisfied. all right. how 'bout we make it a third?"

Frisk's SOUL then came out, and after a simple "ready?" all Tartarus broke loose. Sans used the Blue Mode to violently slam her on the ground only for the human to immediately jump to avoid being impaled by a group of bones suddenly coming out of it. Her SOUL then returned to its red color and Frisk had to carefully move in a small tunnel made of bones before she had to avoid four waves of beams fired by these skull cannons.

Sweetie Belle was impressed. She had guessed that the skeleton had been holding back in their fight, but he really had well hid his game. These skull cannons seemed very powerful.

And then, Frisk attacked, and Sans easily avoided the swing. And the fight continued like that. Sans attacked, Frisk avoided his attacks as best as she could, and once she had an opening, she attacked, only for Sans to avoid the knife.

"He is doing really well on his own, but it's clear he won't win. Frisk will just RELOAD again and again until she hits him," Scootaloo said.

"Eeyup. He needs help," Apple Bloom agreed with a nod.

Sweetie Belle agreed with a nod. "But first, I want to observe. Also, please, you two... Remain out of this."

She said that last part while looking at them with her best impression of Pinkie Pie in one of her... bad mood. The two other fillies could only accept.

And so, they continued to observe the fight. After a moment, Sans attempted to convince Frisk to spare him as he was beginning to tire out, but it failed. After that, Sans used his weird teleportation power to teleport Frisk randomly in the room, right in the middle of attacks, leaving almost no time for her to react. He also used a lot more his skull cannons, and he even began to rapidly slam Frisk around with the Blue Mode, each slam rapidly followed by the human jumping to not be impaled by bones poking out of the ground/wall/ceiling. But eventually, Frisk wasn't able to jump in time and was killed.

It wasn't quite as messy as it could have been. Not a single drop of blood came out of the wounds, and all the organic matter composing Frisk's body began to turn into dust, only leaving the bones. The process had only started when her SOUL broke and the RELOAD happened.

Knowing what Sweetie knew about Frisk, it wasn't surprising. Frisk's body was actually made from Chara's corpse which, after all these years, had been only bones. All the rest, the skin, the hair, the organs and so on, came from magic. And so, like a monster whose body was entirely made of magic, Frisk's body partially turned into dust when she died, leaving only the bones, the only part not of magical origin.

Despite her certainly painful death, Frisk still showed no emotion when she came back, not even anger or frustration. Sans then reappeared, made a comment about Frisk having died three times, and began the fight exactly like before, exactly with the same attacks.

And there the ponies saw the reason that will lead to Sans' defeat: he didn't remember the previous attempts, and thus, repeated his attacks. It was just a matter for Frisk to learn the patterns until she could dodge them perfectly. Thankfully, even with that, Sans still managed to get some more kills in the second part of the fight where the attacks were more wild and harder to dodge even when Frisk already knew about them.

But eventually, Frisk managed to survive until Sans was too tired to continue. The skeleton still had a last ace up his sleeve: he used his teleportation power to stop Frisk from approaching him, leaving them in a stalemate. But the ponies knew that it wouldn't work, and Sans confirmed it when he began to fall asleep.

"Guess it's my turn," Sweetie Belle muttered. "Show time."

Frisk patiently waited as Sans slowly closed his eyes, his exhaustion after this fight catching up.

There. It was time.

Step by step, careful to not make any sound, the human approached, readying his knife.

And he swung.

He saw Sans open his eyes, about to dodge, only for a metallic staff to appear out of nowhere and to block the knife.

For the first time, Frisk showed emotion at this. He hadn't expected something like that to happen. At all. Nothing ever changed. Sans would wake up, dodge the first swing, start a taunt, only to finally be hit by a surprise second swing of the knife, killing him. Nobody ever came to protect Sans.

And so, he couldn't stop himself from letting out a shocked "What?" almost at the same time as Sans who also hadn't expected to be saved.

All eyes then turned at who was holding the staff: a little white horse that seemed to be a cross between an unicorn and a pegasus. And it had a black SOUL?

Frisk quickly stepped back, not knowing at all what to expect for the first time in a long time.

But it wouldn't matter in the end. Frisk didn't know how this little horse ended up here, what caused this change, but it will get the same fate than all the others. Even if it managed to kill him, he would just RELOAD, again and again, until it would die. There was no stopping this.

"Heya! Sorry for not coming earlier Sans!" the horse, who was a filly if he judged right by the voice, then said as she looked back at Sans. "I was waiting my turn and I didn't want to spoil your hour of glory. Beside, it was fun to watch you kicking Frisk's butt over and over again."

She knew his name? Nobody in the Underground knew his name! At least not in this timeline!

Sans raised an 'eyebrow' in wonder. "uh. you kinda have me at a disadvantage there. do i know you?"

"Kind of. I already met an alternate version of you in another universe where Frisk here was much nicer and, apparently, of the opposite gender. Seriously! If it wasn't for the Writer, I would have never known that you're a boy! Darn your androgynousness!" the filly ranted at him before she quickly calmed down and looked back at Sans. "Anyway, ice meeting you, I'm Sweetie Belle. I will take your place from now, you can rest."

Wait, she said what?

"you're a visitor from another world?" Sans asked in disbelief. "well... that's... unexpected..."

"I know, the visitor from another world saving the day at the last minute is like the worst deus ex machina, but hey, such is life," shrugged the filly. "If you want to complain, you can do so to the guy who's dictating my life. Oh, and yeah, I know about my LOVE. Don't worry, I'm not hurting innocent."

Her LOVE? Frisk immediately CHECKED her.

*SWEETIE BELLE 19076 ATK 58 DEF 855 LOVE
*Wait what?!

What the heck? How could someone get such a high amount of LOVE? And that ATK... Now, Frisk was actually scared.

"Mmh... It climbed quite a lot since last time. Not a big surprise," the filly commented at this with another shrug.

Sans now stared at the filly as if she was the Devil. "how..."

"Killed some cosmical abominations... Blew up a planet-sized mothership... Eradicated a few armies," she listed as if they were everyday exploits.

Oh... Frisk was so screwed...

"you aren't kidding, huh?" Sans asked with a deadpan look.

"Not at all. After all, I'm a foal, not a kid."

This got a surprise laugh out of Sans. "oh gosh! you got me!"

Sweetie Belle grinned. "You have nothing to worry from me. Like I said, I avoid hurting innocents. I only kill if there is no other options. Like, in this case, if I can convince Frisk to give up, then all the better. If not, well..." She gave another shrug. "My LOVE may climb a little more."

"i see. okay. are you sure you can deal with mister pokerface over there?"

"Don't worry for me. Go lay down against a pillar and enjoy the show," Sweetie Belle said before she materialized a bag of popcorn and tossed it at Sans. "There, for you."

"cool. thanks," said the skeleton as he caught the bag.

"Nope, they're warm."

Again, Sans laughed, only to stop when he suddenly flashed, and he felt something. "what did you do?"

"I made sure you won't reset each time Frisk will RELOAD after death. That's the main reason you lost your fight. Frisk died and died again, but he learned your patterns."

This surprised Frisk. "You know?"

"Of course I know. Like I just said, I know an alternate version of you. You can SAVE your progress and LOAD each time you die. It's like a video game for you. Too bad, this won't work with me. Time stuff is one of my maaaany talents even if I still have a long way to go before I can do something like you can do. I won't be able to stop you from RELOADING, but I won't have the same problem as Sans."

......... Crap.

Sans' smile became wider and he chuckled. "uh oh, someone's in trouble. welp, i will leave this fight to you then, kiddo." At this, Sans went to sit beside a nearby pillar, beginning to eat his popcorn.

"So, how about we start our dance? And you know what? Since I'm a good sport, I will let you have the first move. What do you risk?"

The way she smiled clearly indicated what will be the outcome if he attacked, but what choice did he have? He could RESET, but Sweetie Belle would probably still be here, ready to great him again. And sparing the monsters was out of question because of...

He was stuck.

So, having no other choice, he attacked, swinging his knife at the filly.

Then, with her bare hoof, Sweetie Belle deflected his knife, sending the object flying.

"My turn."

Before he knew it, Frisk's head was rolling on the floor.

His SOUL broke.

Everything became dark.

And Frisk appeared beside the Save Point beside the entrance of the hall.

Sweetie Belle was still sitting in the middle of the room, smiling sweetly, as if she hadn't just beheaded a child.

Sans dropped a popcorn he was about to eat in shock.

Frisk could only stare in disbelief as the filly showed a sword made of ice that hadn't been present before he attacked.

Sweetie Belle then gave a sadistic smile that sent chills down his back.

"Let's see how DETERMINED you are."

Is sans going to talk with apple doom and phantom?

5510970
You will see.

Interesting.

Bet Shadowstar's or Kratus' LOVE would be higher.

5510978
I don't doubt.

Geronimo!" she shouted before she jumped in the hole as if she was doing a bomb at a pool.

She performed a cannonball, not a bomb.

can Apple Bloom and Scootaloo also fight against Frisk?

5511009
They could, but Sweetie asked them not to, so they won't. She's taking it personally.
