Feeling as emotionally fragile as I am right now1, I decided that while I needed to publish Night of the Sunflower, I couldn't deal with the drama of watching up-and-downvotes fight. So, I was motivated to Leechblock2 the site and actually stay off it.
This morning, I took off the filter, came here, saw that my story had done decently by my standards3, and answered the overwhelmingly sweet and positive comments, and was happy!
So that's the story-posting MO from here on out!

2 Leechblock is my every helpful friend, tho I mainly use it for news sites and twitter. To Facebook I go not.
3 There's absolutely not point in judging your work by any standards than by what's normal for you. In fact even that is kind of fruitless. Sometimes lots of people love my stuff, sometimes only a few. A few people usually hate it, which I think is understandable, honestly. I take the cute pony show in some... odd directions sometimes.
