New Story: Star Trek: Phoenix Announced! (April 5th) · 9:22pm Apr 5th, 2021

Hello, my lovely followers! The day I’ve been awaiting has arrived, not only sooner than I had anticipated, but on an appropriate day as well. That’s right, I am now officially introducing and publishing my newest longform story: Star Trek: Phoenix.

Star Trek: Phoenix is the tale of Sunset Shimmer and Twilight Sparkle, both ripped from their home by a very different version of the magic mirror that provides a transition from Equestria to the human world. Instead of taking them to an alternate universe populated by human versions of their friends, family, and selves, it takes them across the galaxy, to Earth, the capital world of the United Federation of Planets. Together, they must find a way to eventually return to Equestria, and perhaps, if they can, solve the mystery of why they ended up on Earth in the first place.

While this story will include a substantial number of canon Star Trek characters who’ll pop in from time to time, most of the ones we’ll interact with on a day to day basis will be original characters. This story, like my last longform story, is intended to be accessible, meaning no knowledge of Star Trek is required, though of course it does give you a lovely bonus.

I want to thank three people who’ve been a massive help with developing this story. First, Blue Horizon. Blue took the idea I proposed in my blog a month or so back and ran with it like crazy, and has been working with me day and night to help make this story a reality, hence the credit on the cover art. Second, I want to thank Grand_Moff_Pony, whose pre-reading assistance has been invaluable in helping to improve the quality of the story. A third thank you goes to witegrlninja, who has also been fantastic in assisting with pre-reading of the story and helping with story development.

This story will be posted on a once-a-week schedule, on Mondays, at 1520 GMT -8. Those who were familiar with the posting of my previous longform story may be aware I occasionally posted more often than my schedule suggested I would. That will not occur with this story. I need the extra time for each chapter, or episode, not only because I am busier than ever at work, but because I have several people working with me to help pre-read, edit, etc. If there are ever any delays, they will be announced ahead of time. It’s not likely, but it’s always possible.

Note that because of the effort going into Phoenix,  I will cease weekly production on one-shots. I just don’t have enough time anymore. That’s not to say a one shot might not appear every now and again, but they won’t be quite as regular as they were there for a while.

Speaking of oneshots: a few of you might’ve seen a story and accompanying blog post appear for about six or so hours a few days ago and then promptly disappear again. This is because… number one, the story shouldn’t have been published as it wasn’t ready, and number two the initial reception wasn’t what I hoped for. It’s going to be refined and edited--not to mention significantly expanded--before it gets republished. If you didn’t see it, don’t worry, this is just a one-shot with no relevance to anything else. If you did, I hope you enjoy the rewritten version more than the original that was posted. It’s a mature story, another dive into erotica, because apparently one wasn’t enough. :rainbowlaugh:

Thank you, all of my lovely readers, and I hope you enjoy this dive into the Star Trek universe as much as I am.

We sure did, haha! I wasn't expecting it. I'm feeling pretty happy right now. :pinkiehappy:

Can't wait to see Sunset outscam a Ferengi.

You know, can't wait to see Sunset grow up and sit in the Captain's Chair. Also, I kinda see her just challenging a Klingon. I also suspect Klingon's thinking she's food. I see them struggling to convince people to take them seriously.
