So wow, it's been three months since I first uploaded here. I'd like to apologize to the folks who read the first two chapters and wanted more; half the reason for posting here was an attempt to force myself to keep working on it, but I was just too busy and the timing was wrong.

However, I've spent the last week or two figuring out exactly what I'm doing, and I think I have all my digital ducks in a row to proceed. I wanted to make sure I had a good sense of where I was going before publishing the next few chapters, because I didn't want to have to go back and rewrite/retconn stuff. Yesterday I sat down and wrote about 4,000 words. I already had 8,000 words across two chapters written before that (i.e. 00 & 01 are live here, 02 & 03 are complete, and I started 04 and some misc. stuff for throughout the story yesterday).

So I promise to upload at least one chapter in the next week. I also promise that the fic is not going to be a straight-up rehash of TRON Legacy with ponies inserted instead of humans - while I do borrow heavily from the TRON Legacy story and there are definite recognizable elements, the overall themes and several major plot points are quite different. As a minor example, the character running the Grid (i.e. my version of TRON's CLU) is not a duplicate of Celestia (i.e. my version of TRON's Kevin Flynn); you'll get to meet the pony running the show next chapter.

Again, I apologize for the extended delay, and appreciate those of you who'll stick with me.
