Kinda sad about this! So here is what I have been working on, in order of priority of effort which will likely reflect the order of publishing as well. There are also three or four other planned stories I could have written about but feel like keeping even closer to my vest or whatever the expression is, for now. All of these are planned for the Teen rating.

[Untitled SunFlower Contest Entry]

Genre: Sci-Fi/Romance/Drama

Summary: Keeping as much of this as I can under wraps, including the title even though I am 95% sure of what it will be already. All I can say is that I have been sitting on the core concept for about three months now, since around the time I was writing Timescales. With my long-term writing plans it was always slated to be one of the last stories i would write for the site, years from now or not at all. But it turned out to work really nicely with the ideas I had been developing for the nature and future of the EqG world (still planning to develop in full in Principal Investigator Celestia), and with a ship between two characters from two different worlds, the opportunity to adapt the core idea seemed perfect. My only worry is that what I produce will fall very short of the beauty of what is in my mind.

Sisters

Summary: Set in the Crystal War Timeline after the glimpse of it we saw in The Cutie Re-Mark, the very first scene will be Pinkie Pie dying alone in a remote corner of the battlefield, with the body of her dead sister next to her. From there, she will reflect back on her life and just how far short it fell of what could have been, tracing all the way back to a special day that never happened. This will also be a glimpse into the Pie family backstory to be developed further in [Untitled Marble x Trixie].

Garden

Genre: Drama/Dark?

Summary: Princess Flurry Heart is now around the same age as the Cutie Mark Crusaders were in the later seasons of the canon show. She is in disguise, visiting the Ponyville Friendship Garden as an unaccompanied filly at the same time that Apple Bloom is guiding a class full of students through it in an echo of The Return of Harmony. But growing up as a royal alicorn princess from birth in a society changing under the influence of the newly-crowned Princess Twilight Sparkle has given the adolescent Flurry a fun set of complexes. First person, for maximum angst. Title will change if I can figure out a better one, since the one I have now isn't that great.

[Untitled 2nd Person Anon Story]

Summary: Written for a Bean's Writing Group prompt bonus of "something crazy I would never publish", yet I aim to publish it anyway, curious... But yes, this will be a weird one. The 2nd Person is you, a Human in Equestria, meeting Anon at a bakery in Canterlot. You are Anon's only friend, since he is being a huge jerk all the time to the ponies. Your goal is to get him to open up and be vulnerable. Then things get really weird. I'll prob need some prereaders for this one because I have no idea how this will be received. But my goal is to take the concept of Anon fics "seriously" and that ended up referencing some unpleasant themes.

To the Zebra Lands

Summary: Expanding on the backstory of Timescales as well as my ideas for the Zebra civilization and continent, which will be very different from the IDW comics continuity. Though I am planning to keep the name "Farasi" because it's a good one. Starlight Glimmer is sent to the past to take the place of the version of herself that died in a rockfall moments before her arrival. Her mission from the Sovereign Twilight Sparkle is to lead an expedition to the Zebra Lands to consult the Oracle, then return to her original timeline with the answers she is given. Twilight's goal is opaque to her, but her own is to save Maud from the disease already inside of her. The team she will lead is a strange one, but what she finds in the Zebra Lands will be stranger still. For mechanical reasons, am considering telling this within a frame story of Starlight being debriefed after her return.
