Time for Chapter 40! And would you play a FoE based Turn Based Strategy Game? · 12:18pm Mar 12th, 2021

Also here is a digital of Azure.

So my writing groove has been rather good lately, likely because where the story is at has gotten a lot more wasteland then just cowboy and such. Even now more ideas are flowing for how to make the chapter work, and I feel good about it. Some new characters, further development in the story, logical and illogical actions of some characters, also a monster hunt when thing are all said and done. Another fun part is getting a closer look at a stable, which so far my story has not had the time to do for clear reasons. It dose help bring it back to that Fallout feel that we all love.

Anywho, I also been bouncing another idea in my head, it comes and goes, but could be something that works if some people gave it a serous go at it. The idea being if Fo:E was made into a real time strategy game (RTS) or a turn based strategy game (TBS) both could be made with more simple characters artwork, and possibly use a pre-existing system. For the (RTS) with expedition of a few "hero" characters, most of the units would not need any complicated art, as their mainly faceless troopers, this game mode being simply moving one army around to fight the other. As for (TBS) this would require a bit more art for the nits, as they'd have faces and names even though their still probably cannon fodder, with the game being more about one unit then an army.

It's all related to the "War in the West" Idea I have, with the understanding that before anyone would even care about playing as my factions, they would want to play as the NCR first. So how it would go is that ether a campaign, or a story chapter would take place on the east cost of Equestria, involving the NCR maintaining and or taking territory. it would be your standard Fo:E kind of tail were even though your the good guy, you probably have to do bad things, as the villien is that much worse. Maybe the story continuse as the player then goes west, dealing with tribals, robot army, mutants, and other factions striving for control. Eventually they end up on the west cost, were they would get involved with Orthrus as the War in the West is turning from a small conflict, into a war between two superpowers. (echoes of the old world)

Anywho, that's just the idea. both have their atvatages, as the RTS dose not need to meddle much with levels and too many characters. But the TBS would let you craft a more personal story, along with customizing your own team, having each unit be specialized in some way.

Sure, I would play it (if I had a computer or friends I could play with).

Btw, there is a Fallout board game, but I don't know anything about it besides the fact it exists.
