Time for a new chapter! other then that, nothing new. · 9:23am Feb 26th, 2021
Well another week another chapter, though I wish I had put in more effort in looking for a new editor, at least it should be awhile until my backlog is used up. Anyways, I hope you all are doing well and enjoying the stories here, I know some people need the distraction.
Talking about distractions, so how about that G5 3D, if that dose not yell some sort of red flag I don't know what will. Still, I'll give it a shot, it's not like some low quality 3D shows have gone on to be really good and this one had Hasbro's at it's back. I think it's saposed to be a movie, so it might be Hasbro testing the waters, which dose not make me feel confident, but it could work. What my biggest worry is less about the animation and more about the people writing the script, whom may not understand the world settings all that well, just like with the last movie. *Sigh* The last movie felt like a furry was giving the rains for making new characters, but understood little about MLP, thus we got Fish people, Bird people, Cat people, a Porcupine person and baboon people... well I don't think that will happen here, I'm more worried that unneeded politics is going to be thrown in, and the wrong life lesson will be push onto young kids. Think of it like this, a lot of people in California, where I'm form, have distorted or corrupted vulture, think the cheese pony or Redeye. It's not that they want to hurt people and make things worse, it's just that they think that by huing people and making things woes that things will then get better. A lot of them are also just ignorant of what they do, and there's a lot of them in the Calli entertainment industry. So I'm just worried that were going to get a forced or warped version of MLP G4 that will drive people away, not invite them back in.
Anywho, rant over. I do wish you well, and remember that Love and Tolerance is how we work to a better world, not hate and intolerance. Also, I know, we can't just leave the door open to anyone who want's in, but that dose not mean we try and burn their house down because we don't agree with them.
Seeing your hunt for a new editor is kind of hurting me personally. If you really want one, I hope you find one. My one consolation in this is the fact that maybe you don't need one. Some of the stories you produced in the past has way more attention than anything I ever produced, and you didn't have an editor back then (I think). Write from the heart. I'm pretty sure that is advice you always have followed, so saying it now is probably a moot point.
As for G5, I'm not sure if I will give it a chance. I hesitated about G4 as well for most of it's lifespan but the activities of the bronies made me way too curious what I am missing.
I heard some awful rumors that woke culture has ceased control of G5. It seems a part of a systematic trend to go after any popular show and corrupt it just because it has an initial fanbase to cash in on. I always thought G4 had that too, but it wasn't too in-your-face about it and it still had good story and characters. If the rumors I'm hearing about G5 are true though . . . let's just say I'm hesitant to watch it. I have never once seen one episode of the Jodie Witikar era of Doctor Who for the same reason. Specifically, I don't want my love of the franchise to be tainted. In my case, I'll wait a while and see what the reception is for everyone else first. If I hear more positive than negative feedback, I might give it a chance. To date, I have yet to see a single episode of Pony Life for the same reason. Feedback on that one seems negative at first, and mixed at second.
