The End | The Beginning of Anew · 4:21am Feb 16th, 2021

This has been a long time coming. I have completed my revival of Medusa. I hope it was well worth it. I'm sorry I couldn't finish it sooner.

But above all, I'm happy to have taken the first step to writing my own take of a revival for the featured presentation that Sony Pictures Animation didn't get to see it through.

A story that was pitched by a Todd Alcott and Holly Golden, and was originally directed by Lauren Faust in 2014. It was sad in 2015 to hear how Lauren Faust left the studio, because she was going through a disagreement with her superiors about direction they want the movie to go, over her's. And after she left, the movie was shelved. Though rumors have been going on saying that someone named Robert Rugan had came in to fill in for Faust.

But it's been how long and still no result? I shouldn't be surprised if Sony Pictures Animation suffered a bankruptcy, after that Emoji Movie they pulled on us, instead of that Popeyes movie we were promised. Another movie that was shelved, due to clash of creative directions and decision making between a director and his superiors. Seriously, is there EVER a studio we can go to with good form of communications and proper RESPECTS? And let's not forget, this is the same company that brought us Spiderā€“Man on the big screen. The movie that stars Tobey Maguire and knocked out Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone for being the top film to gross the biggest premiere, for three days!

I've got story ideas. I'm hoping to pitch them to a big time company to make these ideas into a reality. But I'm not about pitching them and letting them all go to waste because of some morons who don't understand the meanings of good storytelling, relatable character developments, connections with the audience, and the resources for it all! They're just lucky that Spiderā€“Man: Into the Spiderverse saved their sorry careers.

Long story short, I did a story for them. I beat them to a story they couldn't even finish in what? Six to seven years ago?! And I'm not about to wait another six or seven for them to be bought by Disney, so they can shut them down and end their career!

Forgive me for my, what do you call? Negative outburst? But seriously, this isn't the 80-90s, anymore. People are smarter now. We don't tolerate for just any "minor setbacks." What most of us are really asking is for a good form of entertainment that's actually making an effort of being entertaining. Something that's really connecting and engaging with the audience and worth showing to our kids, and for them to show to their kids and grandchildren. And personally, for someone like, a compensation for a past heartbreak is a bonus.
