Progress remains slow on the writing front. Not only am I still dealing with the freeloader-slash-housemate and their television viewing habits, but I have a very demanding cat whose preferred location is my lap.
Plus I have a research issue that I'm trying to solve, so that isn't helping. Anyone on my watch list knowledgeable regarding military academies and housing?

Sorry to say, I can't help with that. None of my immediate family are military (my grandpa was in the Navy in WW2 but he's long dead; I had an uncle who was in the Marines, but that was decades ago and I'm sure boot camp is different from the academy XD) so I can't offer anything on those fronts.
Basically, all I can give is the usual well-wishes and hope that things perk up soon, especially with your home situation. (I like cats and all, but yeah, pets are not at all conducive to getting writing done.)
