So, I've been silent about this for about some time now but I feel as it needs to be brought up in order to get to the root of the problem. So for the past month, I've noticed that I've been getting a dislike(sometimes two) on (nearly all) my comments. This in of itself isn't the issue. Its the fact that the comments I make/made (witch weren't negative and was either asking for editing assistance or being positive) and the fact that the dislikes are popping up within minutes of said post/comments.
If they at least said why or something to that effect, I'd be fine with it and even be willing to fix it if possible. Unfortunately, since they don't speak and I don't know who it is(at least, not without proof), I can't do more than just speculate. And I don't want to get the mods since I don't want to waste their time on something so small(to them). Yes, ignoring it is one way to go about it but that would only enable their behavior and I genuinely want to talk it out rather than just be in the silence and continue with such a... I wanna say toxic way of acting.
But I do want to ask you guys/girls this- What should I do? Yea, I know the obvious first answer is ignore it but even if I do that, that won't fix the issue of said person/s spamming dislikes for no (realistic) reason.
I've had this sort of issue Irl but that was manageable since I knew who it was where as on here, thats not as simple. In any case, I'd like to hear your thoughts and hopefully if the person/s are reading this, you can PM me and we can talk it out.

I've noticed that there's just a few users who consistently get downvotes wherever they go. My money's on mean-spirited people spinning up burner accounts shackled with some rudimentary programming that searches for comments by certain users and downvotes them.
Lotta work to put into one person? Yep. Kinda dumb? Yeah. Annoying? Uh-huh.

I mean, that's basically what I said but less complicated.
I was going to simply say that you 'should' just ignore the things those people do, but suffice to say it seems like even when we do ignore them they seem to miss the point and just think they can keep going. But honestly, speaking as a friend, trying to ration and reason with these people will only do you no good either. For whatever reason, they're like the sociopaths who's crimes are so bad that 'ID' eventually makes them into documentaries except to a smaller degree. They get a kick out of seeing innocent people suffer and delivering such negativity gives them a high greater than smoking or drinking.
It's not to say there is really a right or wrong answer to this dilemma, but the best you can do is simply try to focus on your work and not let them effect your life. If you even acknowledge what they're even doing, they 'win'. You are an artist and as such, your only concern is where you intend to go with your work. And so long as you and 'you' alone know that what you say is under no means negative as they claim to be, that's all you really need.
Besides, if you try to please 'everyone' in the world... you will 'never' be happy.

Labels are the worst, mostly because that defines what makes a sadder person (The person who delivers the labels to hide their own insecurities). While your intentions to compromise are noble at best, sometimes it just isn't enough to resolve a conflict. The best thing you can really do is accept herself for who you are. If they want to call you a 'bad girl', be 'bad'... so 'bad' in fact that you are 'kickass'. And no man or woman can bring you down.

If you really think you’re being targeted by a serial downvoter, it’s worth it to at least check in with a moderator. I know you said you don’t want to bug the site staff, but it’s worth it for peace of mind at least. The worst they can say is no.

Maybe eventually those 'kids' will grow tired and spend the next moments of their livelihood just playing with themselves. I wouldn't be surprised if they are the type who've never had a significant other in their lives and chose instead to channel their frustrations on those better off than they are.
