COVID-19 Situation · 5:11am Dec 24th, 2020
My husband has tested positive for COVID-19. He lost his sense of smell Sunday night. There had been other symptoms typical to things he usually goes through, so we didn't suspect he had it until then. I'll be getting myself and my daughter tested tomorrow morning though I have been warned I probably have it because we're still in the same house as my husband, even if we've made efforts to wear masks, keep distance, and so on.
If I do have it, my symptoms have been mild and could easily be attributed to stress.
I still fully intend to post Chapter 5 audiobook and Chapter 52 text of The Master Mev soon. They are done and ready. I decided to hold off on publishing the Chapter 6 audiobook for Christmas because getting Chapter 7 done by New Year's was too daunting of a task.
And to be honest, while I would and possibly still could get Chapter 6 audiobook and Chapter 53 text done in time for New Year's, I won't commit to it, given the circumstances.
To be honest, The Master Mev is a happy work for me, so working on it between the stress of 2020 has actually helped me thrive as a writer. So, if I find working on it between the stress of this COVID-19 stuff helps, I'll do it. And if I find that I'd rather just lay in bed and wait and hope and rest, I'll do that. It rather depends on my mood.
Well wishes and prayers are appreciated. Here's hoping my family can make it through this situation okay.
Hope that your husband pulls through. Hope that you and your daughter test negative or pull through it as well.
