Resuming writing Midnight Castle · 11:32pm Dec 10th, 2020
“This is strange,” Caballeron said. “This is the strangest conversation I have ever been witness to. However, Lord Tirek, perhaps some arrangement can be made.”
I've gotten back to writing it, currently about 2600 words in. Sorry that it took me a while, but, well, the start of November was several different kinds of Hell and the rest of the month was sort of a simmering existential crisis for me as for the first time in my 33 years of life I had to deal with the idea of death, not to mention that I kept, out of habit, doing things like my cat was still around, like being careful rolling out my computer chair in case he was behind me, or checking my living room window as I came home to see if he was sunning himself.
Pushing forward now, though. Not forgetting Puck by any means, of course, I just seem to finally be in a mental state where I can sit down and focus on writing again.
I’m so glad to hear you’re resuming your story! While I’m sorry to hear about your cat, it’s nice to see you coming to terms with it and moving on. Sometimes that’s all we can do.
Lots of luck with your newest update! I love your work. I’m looking forward to reading more!
Nice to see the story back on track and from the looks of it, we'll be getting an allience soon. Take your time though, we can wait. Personal lives are more important.
Good to see you back. And no worries. Personal problems take precedence.
My condolences, and take all the time you need. Any personal problems take precedence, and I'm sure that every single one of your fans feels the same way. We should be careful to remember that writers are people too, and not just automatons churning out words at whim. Anyways, take care, and know we care about you as a person, and not just a writer.
