Kydra watched as Tempest and Hero sparred. She smiled slightly, watching the two. Soon, Hero was pinned down by Tempest’s spear.
“Aw, no fair! Hmph...”
Tempest chuckled and helped him up. “Heh, tell you what, if you can go for two more matches, I’ll take you out to buy ice cream.”
Hero smiled and nodded, standing again.
Kydra’s smile soon disappeared. She sighed, thinking back to Chrysalis. Kydra very much missed her mother. Sure, she wanted Kydra to be something she didn’t want to be, but...
“M-Mommy...?”
“Yes, Kydra?”
“'M hungwy... a-an’ I had a bad dweam...”
Sigh. “Come here... I’ll get you some love, then I’ll invite Broken and that little blue-fanged nymph you like over.”
