Now you can read Chapter 25 of Deperado's for more Pirates! · 9:51am Nov 27th, 2020

Like the song, the singeing has his own Fo:E story, so check Lone Writer for a new story.

Well I may not been as productive as like to be, but Desperado's is still coming along nicely as it is. And boy some things are a surprise, getting the Saint Roseland song actually sung was a nice, got five different versions to be exact, with the one in the video laying on the accent heavy. Can't seem to get around the pirates sounding Scottish, but oh well, it works for the rough tone their accent has.

As for why so much with the pirates, or as they call themselves, the Oceanic Illuminated Authority, they make this excellent general antagonist. Far more dangerous then raiders, but hardly involved with whatever plot going on in the mainland, any hero is unlikely going to have to deal with them as long as they stay out of the waters. Also how disorganized they tend to be without direct leadership would let any writer add their own pirate fleet without it feeling out of place, along with making them look or act however they want. The overall idea is for anyone to take them, and have fun with them, controlling how lighthearted, or dark the story can get with a chaotic group of villeins.

If I ever go back to re-wright Chumming Waters, I would do my best to flush out the pirates more, the good and the bad. Not going to get any darker then that story already got, not with what Star went through, but defiantly a bit more of their culture. That aside I hope you all have fun and thanks for reading.
