I'd just like to take this moment to give a big thanks to everybody who reads my blogs & stories, as well as all the awesome people I've met through the MLP fandom through the years. I hope you all are staying safe this year, and taking the proper precautions this year by staying home. It's been a rough year, and to be honest I'm kind of enjoying the holidays being more low key.
This is the first day I've been able to take completely off for a while, certainly since last week anyways. With final papers coming due soon, I've been mired in the land of historiography and essays... I've spent maybe the last week busy with at least some work of some kind and I'm exhausted.
My plans for our winter-cum-spring break (thanks to Covid my university has messed with it's schedule a lot) are to finally make the Victorian smoking cap that I've had plans and materials for since September (I think, it seems like a decade ago now!), and to finally finish and publish my EQG Fluttershy-Rainbow Dash ship fic. Consider it a Christmas present? That is, assuming I have it done before 2021.
Lately, my friends and I have been watching some She-Ra... and I might be interested in doing some fanfics for that? Would that be something people would be interested in reading? I guess I'd have to go and get a A03 account? But I'd post blogs with links to the stories here, because cross platform promotion? I'm certain that writing popular rubbish for a different series that is already over that I haven't watched all of yet is a brilliant idea, with no flaws whatsoever...
Oh, and at some point, I suppose I'll have to come up with a way to end the Weekend Wondercolts trilogy (?) too. I have a rough idea of what it'll be: a Sunlight fic, to compliment the Flutterdash and bring together the collection. Oh and I've got yet another "everyday historical pony" story I was meant to be writing... and a new Magical Girl College RP I wanna work on... yeah send help, I have way too many story ideas! At least everyone seems to have liked my last two stories, so hopefully all this will be worth the wait?

(As for the potential She-Ra fanfics, I don't know, sorry; I did read one I enjoyed, that I happened to come across (here, I believe, if you're interested), but I think that's the most interaction I've had with the show or fandom.
Still, if you do post links, I may take a look and find I've happened to come across more I enjoy. :)

Thanks for the support everyone! If I were more productive, I’d write a whole lot more fanfics, and not just for pony! Alas the whole “real life” and “being easily distracted” things get in the way.
Reese, I’ll have to check out that story and see what I think. I will say, one of the great things about pony is that the characters personalities are so well defined, and fairly easy to write as a result. Admittedly, when I started writing there were only two seasons worth of lore, which also made writing so much easier! I think it’s a testament to the success of the show writers that it’s hard not to write a good story featuring the Mane 6.
I’ve thought about branching out into other fanfics before, but other shows just haven’t had as many stories asking to be told as MLP. I love Star Trek for instance but I haven’t been able to come up with stories for it... hard not to retread something some nine different series have covered!
