Anti Royalist Human In Equestria · 9:23am Nov 22nd, 2020
What would you think would happen?
Somehow, I don't think they would appreciate your presence in Equestria if you took a strong anti royalist stance. And make such demands as abolishing royalty and demanding the install of some sort of republic. (or something else) I don't think you would have even much luck convincing even what is considered to be poor or working class in Equestria's population, because even they might be incredibly loyal to the princesses. So good luck being Vladimir Lenin, you have your work cut out for you dealing with angry farmer earth ponies who don't appreciate your anti royalist stance.
I imagine they would say: "You and what army?" as a legion of Royal Guard surrounds you and puts you in jail in one of the more extreme circumstances.
Twilight may want to know why you hold such anti royalist views. We know how thirsty she is for knowledge.
For the last part, I will only day this: Twi, you’d better get your quill and parchment ready, because anti-royalist has quite a complicated history.
If I somehow made it to Equestria, and the rulers really are immortal deities, I don't think I would have any reason or grounds to suggest a different system. Ponies think, act, and live much different from us, albeit also similar in many ways. For being a sapient prey species, it's probably instinctive and part of their herd mindset to gather to the biggest and strongest among them. If a human told Twilight about the idea and why it applied on our Earth, it would probably be tolerated as a curiosity, but I would expect an actively anti-royal human to be shunned or ignored by almost every member of the species, without the princesses even needing to take any action.

I'm sure be horrified to find out what happened to the french royal family. Among others.

I think the human would have to very dumb even if he was some sort of hardcore anti royalist. He would have to at least pretend he likes the princesses. However, it would be shocking for them to find out he holds anti royalist views in secret. Imagine Luna would find out somehow by visiting him in his dreams. She probably would have long talk with him as to find out why.
You'd be Starlight's new best friend. Depending on when you arrived, you might become co-dictator of My Little DPRK, and be able to put up an actual fight when the Elements arrive.

Vladimir Lenin and Starlight romance? I think this story could be funny. XD
I wonder if I should write it?

Ah, Joseph Stalin. That be a true trollfic.
A good king is the best form of government, but a bad king is the worst. The trouble with hereditary monarchy is that even if you start with the former you'll inevitably end up with the latter, and Celestia solves that issue by never needing an heir. Twilight, after getting the full story, will presumably point that out.
As an anti royalist myself, the mlp monarchy is a bit wacky but it works since all the immortal god-queens are all great at their jobs so I mean, not bad, but yknow, economically I still dislike it as theres a LARGE wealth inequality with the upper echilon of the Canterlot Elite compared to the poor of other cities and towns across Equus.
honestly spreading anti-royalist ideals won't be that hard in certain areas, given that canterlot nobles are just as snooty as ye old human ones. inspire the downtrodden masses and commoners to lead themselves rather than depend on the princesses. and also remind them that they don't do much to begin with and make propaganda that twilight was only made a princess to save face for her own failures and lack of action.
Tell the old stories of our monarchist societies and how they aren't needed to be a great nation.
