Yeah I’m glad he’s gone, but probably not without a fight.
The memes were glorious.
Maybe in a bizarre alternate reality, Trump the meme president turned out to be a really eccentric guy who was all bark and no bite. No promises of a giant wall to keep out immigrants, no authoritarian impulses, no endless corruption. Just a weird candidate who went against the increasing extremism of the establishment GOP and turned to populism instead. Instead, what we got was nearly as bad as the worst predictions.
Remember when The Trump campaign used MLP to defend against accusations of plagiarism? Those were fun times. Maybe Trump can learn more about the magic of friendship when he's out of the White House, without his congressional friends and cronies, and faced with a dozen different lawsuits.
Damn it. So much for the beautiful Trump memes.
I won't miss the memes either.
