The Secret Tunnel Project is no longer secret. May I present:
Worlds Apart: The Chosen of the Prognosticus.
This story is, at its core, a love letter to my childhood. On the surface, it's just a special retelling of Super Paper Mario with ponies and a LOT of twists because I can't write a story without throwing in a million twists. However, it's more than that. As we progress through the story, it'll be clear that it's not just a crossover between Super Paper Mario and My Little Pony, but many other franchises that shaped my life, each one offering itself as its own world--though, for now, exactly what franchises will be included is a SEEEECRET. ((In fact part of the gimmick will be to have people guess what's included before it officially shows up.)) Deeper than that, it's also an exploration of the antithesis of Songs of the Spheres, exploring themes that are in many ways diametrically opposed to the way the multiverse was portrayed there. I won't say exactly how, because part of the fun will be uncovering it on your own. All I will say is, aside from the opposing themes and some shared franchises, the stories have nothing to do with each other.
This is not an episodic story. This is one adventure from start to finish. About 250k words as of now, and every chapter has been written and second-drafted. Currently, you can find the first two drafts on the discord server if you want early access. ((Link in my profile description tagline thing)). I'm going to start publishing as soon as I get a few people to go through the early-access chapters and provide feedback, since my editors have already been flooded with the thing, like, twice through already. ((Please, if you're interested, let me know, it's always good to have some fresh eyes look at it one last time.))
Unlike a lot of the other things I've written, this one has a very close place to my heart, and it was a passion project more than anything. I hope you enjoy.
I'm not sure when exactly it will come out. Soon, probably, within the month I'm thinking. And it has a lot of chapters so expect it to be released over the course of a year or something similar.
A final note: this is likely to be my last large fanfic project before I move onto original ficiton. So let's go out with a hurrah, shall we? ((LSB will continue, don't worry.))

What was it specifically that was causing issues? The debates about the ending of SotS have passed into the past, for the most part, if that was the issue.

I just barely got engaged in any conversations because I wasn’t on the same level as the other users. I didn’t hate anyone in the Sea of Stories, unlike another author’s server, whose users constantly posted cutesy-talk and 4chan-esque memes.
Everyone start taking your bets here on what franchises she’s gonna use my guess is digimon as a safe bet and super robot monkey force go as a real wild card lol .
