The Soul’s Savior update · 7:24am Oct 3rd, 2020
Hey everyone. Just letting you know that the next chapter of The Soul’s Savior might take a tad longer than usual. Some things have happened recently and it’s a bit of a bitch.
The first thing is this. The touch pad on my laptop wasn’t working correctly. In an attempt to fix it, I somehow managed to completely uninstall the fucking thing. So my laptop didn’t have a mouse anymore. After awhile of fruitlessly trying to fix it, I eventually just did a complete reset of my laptop. That fixed it, but I then needed to redownload everything I had and then log back in to everything. So that sucked.
The second thing is quite a bit bigger. I’ve been diagnosed with COVID-19. My grandfather tested positive first, so I quarantined in an attempt to stay healthy, but it didn’t work. I tested positive. And now most of my family has it. I’ve been mostly fine, but with a hell of a cough and I’ve been tired as hell.
So, yeah. Hopefully I’ll be able to get something done while I’m in quarantine with a working laptop, but I don’t know. We’ll see.

Also, just so it’s out there: my family and I were careful as hell in regarding to social distancing and quarantining. We tried our best to stay healthy, and in the end, we still got it.
Sometimes life is cruel and harsh. But at the end of the day, there’s nothing you can do but hope for a better draw tomorrow. Sometimes it can feel like life is just punching you in the gut over and over, so you have to roll with those punches and pull yourself back up. Get ready for life’s next punch, and then throw a hell of a haymaker when you’re ready.
