I have the type of hair that Poof's up in the heat, lol.

Tangles and frizz drives me nuts, even with slightly shorter hair.

It still comes to bug me.

Lol, pesky poofs! :rainbowwild:

You'd still look gorgeous, sweetie :rainbowkiss:

5340305
Aww, thank you.

Though I'd probably feel like a clown, lol.

effing mood omg

That can't be fun. I find my hair at neck length irritating, so I can hardly imagine what shoulder length must be like!

Hope you're staying awesome Scampy, you're in my top favorite people list, FYI.

5340313
Get me out in some humid heat, I turn into Pinkie Pie.

Filly pinkie pie, lol.

More tangles than girl...:facehoof:

5340317
Aw heck, big thanks hon

[pityparty]that said, I just had spine surgery and am decidedly not feeling awesome ngl[/pityparty]

Woah..... That's the compleate opposite of me!

5340321
I wish you a swift recovery, Scampy.

Believe me I hate the heat just as much as you. I may not have long straight hair. But I live in a literal dessert and trust me the summer here ain’t no picnic. That’s why I prefer the winter here. The cold air in my lungs as I go out running. Feels like it’s the only time I can really breath. You feel me?

5340321
Omigosh!

I'll be keeping you in my prayers every night!

I hope you recover quick, good people deserve to feel fabulous.

Totes, I love the winter.

Nothing better than a crisp cold winter morning.

And that is one of the reasons for girls to have a short cut in the summer, and a long cut in the winter.

5340607
My hair was down to my hips, now it's just past my shoulders.

Oi, I just can't bring myself to go any shorter than that, lol.

Finally someone who gets it. A toast, to next winter, where we can all take a refreshing breath. Cheers 🥂.

And hopefully finally get rid of this bleedin' virus.

Genuinely curious... any tips/supplements for getting hair that long? Or to just get them longer than they currently are?

Asking because my fiancee's hair goes down to her upper back, but I'd love for it to go as far down as her hips. Love me some long hair on girls.

Well, how I grow my hair out is to keep it healthy with a rich conditioner.

She should find out which type of hair she has, and then look into a conditioner that will compliment said type. Also, look into a shampoo that promotes hair growth, hair health and strengthening the roots. For a time I used Mane and Tail shampoo, it's a pretty good shampoo to keep your hair on the full side.

Now, here's a nice tip.

When it comes to hair growth, constant Daily washing will rob the hair of the oils and minerals, that's needed for hair to grow out. So when she takes a shower, invest in a shower cap, keep the hair dry and only wash it out, like every other day or like two days, give those oils a chance to build into your hair.

When using the shampoo let it sit in your hair for like five minutes, same with the conditioner. Make sure to massage the conditioner into your scalp, get it deep into the hair.

Lastly, don't wash your hair in warm or hot water, it drys out your hair and slows down growth.

Wash out and wet your hair with cool water, keeps the hair nice and hydrated.

Lol, those are a few tips I used to grow my locks out.

Do you mind giving an example of what you mean by this? I know practically nothing about hair, so I didn't even know they were hair types and complimentary conditioners haha.

And thanks for the tips!

Sure thing hon, well everybody has a hair type.

She should see her hairdresser to find out actually which type she is.

Well certain types of hair are...

Full thick hair, tons of volume. - If her hair is this type, then maybe not go Mane and Tail shampoo, she should have naturally strong hair growth.

Dry Hair ~ Hair that's just very dry, tangled or breaks alot.

Hair that's been colored or highlighted~ You can treat your hair with certain shampoos which prevent color loss.

Thin Hair~ Very fine and weak hair, shampoos like Mane and Tail, can add volume and boost it up.

There are more, like I said let her hairdresser explain it.

Heh. I myself have long hair irl. And of course: it is long, shaggy, curly, thick, and messy. And I LOVE IT the way it is for me. X3 (Aside from when transformations always have a tendency to change it for me. ^^')

5351504
Coo.

Sounds like a wild style.

5351513
Heh =3

And what makes long hair great: Prefect use to head bang it during crazy guitar solos. XD

5351516
Lol, I've never headbanged in my life.

Though when my hair isn't acting up, I love to give it a good brushing.

5351456

Will do!

Thanks again. Hopefully I can get her hair nice and long again.

5351658
Best of luck to her on her hair journey.
