We obviously need a refresher course.
When it comes to my fanfiction, I have certain rules of my own.
Terra faked having amnesia, and it was exposed when she said "Things Change, Beast Boy! The girl you want me to be is just a memory." dumped Beast Boy on THINGS CHANGE, saying she didn't want anything to do with him, and wanted to forget her past and peruse a normal life for herself, and to "Leave her alone" (Never come near her again)
Cold, cruel, selfish, foolish, and definitely will not go unpunished!
I will not accept Beast Boy willing leaving her in peace and attempting to move on with his own life as well (Unacceptable) and also will not go unpunished.
You intend to make him continue to stalk her, get in her face, and make her more uncomfortable?
No... I intend to see his life a living hell. His punishment for not only losing the girl, but WILLINGLY let her go (Show's how weak he is, letting other people tell him what to do and how to be. Such a character (Depending on what kind of character he is) is not deserving of my mercy or kindness, but rather my scorn and wrath.)
The following are in GREEN, they are what is USUALLY to happen...
-Never play in the love league again (He is forbidden from falling in love again, or choosing another girl. It is TERRA or NOTHING. Even if there is some other girl out there who likes him, and I know there isn't (Raven is not in love with him in the OG verse... and those Japanese girls were CUCKOO, not really in love with him, they'll cheer for anything) He's out. O-U-T- OUT. He's not even welcome in the stadium even to WATCH the game, much less compete.
So, I'll make it so no girl likes him at all (Not that it wouldn't be natural anyway)
-(His Heroism is UNSUNG) People are to regard the other Titans as "Cool" "The Juicy news" Ect, ect, while BB is to go unnoticed, unappreciated, and above all else... unwanted, even if he himself was the big hero of the day. No one will want his autograph, a selfie with him, or even say "Hello" or give him a smile. Only the other Titans get all the reward, praise, and glory, while he gets punished or scorned for petty things.
-(His life is to be HELLISHLY UNBEARABLE) Aside from the above: Having no admirer or thanks. The Titans are to have no time for him, either by preoccupation, or plain not interested. They are also to act much like my haters do-- IF BB refuses to do as they say "Grow up" "Get over it" leave childish things behind, and be more like them, and if he doesn't, they insult him, antagonize him, show little to no regard for his feelings or even that he HAS feelings at all.
Robin: You need to grow up!
Starfire: "You are acting most immature."
Cyborg: "Your feelings don't matter."
Raven: "Beast Boy doesn't have feelings, he has green skin."
...Like that, and when even Terra tries to talk to him again (He's not Stalking her, she WILLINGLY approached him and wishes to speak) She can sugar coat it all she wants, but her apology is hollow and she, too, is trying to urge him to move on and forget the past (Unaware of what's happened to him) and that she is still dedicated to living her normal life (Despite the lies she is telling herself) all she's doing is throwing more salt in his already aching wounds. She's just showing how self-centered she really is.
Even if they do TRY and help him move on with his life, they will be unsuccessful (Like this)
...All it does is make him MORE upset, especially because of how improbable and ineffective it proves.
That's just his social life...
All through the city, things are no better, as he is being robbed of more things he loves (His favorite hangout places are converted into businesses and other things he CANNOT use and does not like, and there are NO OTHER places like it in the city left. No pizza places, no arcades, no candy stores, nadda!)
Automatic Doors won't open for him.
He clearly has the right of way, and tries to cross the street, when some idiot zooms by and then yells at him.
Even if people notice him, they don't say "Excuse me" when they wish to pass, but just shove him and go "Get out of the way!" or "Move it!"
He gets lousy service wherever he goes.
If he takes a simple drink from the drinking fountain in the park, people stare at him in disgust and shoo him away like he's poisoning it, or try to call the cops on him.
If people assault him (Throw water balloons at him, or push him in mud) the people nearby laugh at him, but when he retaliates, they mark him as the real offender, and don't care about his side of the story.
...That's just the tip of the spear, but you get the idea.
I will not accept him losing Terra, willing to let her go, or move on... He will suffer for it. That is part of his punishment.
Now What's supposed to happen to him in the end...
-He has a major fallout with the Titans and strikes out on his own.
-He usually turns into the main antagonist of the fic (Usually not by his choice)
-THE END OF ENDS (Not by Choice): He was cursed by a magical tome, selecting him to be its user.
-THE FORCE OF HATRED (Not By Choice): He tries to set a sword on display upright after it has fallen over (Not knowing it is cursed) and he it taken over by an evil spirit.
Other times, instead of becoming evil, he becomes a dark, depressed, or jerkish anti-hero.
-VOYAGE TO THE EDGE OF THE EARTH: While on a world-wide adventure to find a new life for himself, he stops off to be a hero to people who are oppressed or in need of help.
-BOUNTY HUNTER BEAST BOY: As a Bounty Hunter (and someone whom has lost a great deal of his morality) It not his job or concern to save people's lives. He only wishes to capture the monster/criminal and collect the bounty on its head. If in the process he DOES inadvertently save lives... "Whatever" it means nothing to him.
-YU-GI-OH E-QUEST: As Masquerade (a 20-21 year old pro-gamer, and someone low on morals due to his past) He's only looking out for himself, and is after only wealth and power. He strongly dislikes things like friendship, kindness and optimism and has a tendency to talk-down to or insult anyone who believes in such things, and when the opponents he faces prove to be weak and spineless.
HE DIES
-My most often used and most desirable penalty for him... He dies in the end.
It doesn't matter if Terra and the titans are sorry...
It doesn't matter if deep down he wants to give them another chance.
...So again, BB got dumped by Terra, is willing to let her go and move on with his life-- Unacceptable.

...No, intend for him to Die (Or at least live a miserable, unfulfilling life, or a life of anger, hate and mistrust.)

i do have an idea that i think both me and you could agree on. it includes bb lashing out against the titans, (I'm still deciding if he would leave or shut them out for a little while) then the titans would graciously apologize and he (probably after plenty of time to think it over) forgave them, afterward, maybe terra could come back after some big battle, terra of course would apologize and she COULD want to become a titan again but only after she completed a semester at that school, bb accepts the offer saying something along the lines of "i will wait for you like i should've done so long ago"
i believe in the catch as you do, but i also believe in happy endings (but NOT without suffering beforehand https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/EarnYourHappyEnding)
another idea would be to give beast boy another horrible affliction in the process like a permanent scar, (either physical or mental)
