My last remaining grandfather died yesterday · 10:43pm Jul 14th, 2020
Because this year's been such a joy, I lost my father's dad yesterday to a major heart attack. Still waiting for something truly great to happen this year, but it looks to me like the only good thing about it is I've not caught Corona and my five suicide attempts have all failed. Oh well, at least I got to say goodbye to my grandfather this time. Even if he wasn't conscious, it still felt nice to be able to say farewell... even if his heart rate began to drop rapidly while I was in there.
Guess I wasn't a good grandson.
Don’t think you’re a bad grandson. It obviously wasn’t your fault.
As for your grandfather, may he rest in peace...
Don't even think about doing that to yourself.
I'm really sorry to hear, dude. My condolences. I know the helpfulness of that phrase fades the more you hear it, but sometimes it's all we can say.
Hey don't be like that, don't blame yourself.
You have my sympathy and condolences, my grandfather passed away last year.
*hugs*
You're not a bad grandson. May your grandfather rest in piece.
Don't be like that Vertigo, maybe that's your granpa was fighting to still be alive until hear you again, like he was waiting to say your farewell before resting. Usually nobody knows the reasons of why heart drops or get faster some times.
But there wasn't a reason to be disappointed with yourself. You are a great guy
