Hello there!
My name is Neba and I'm thinking about posting my first fanfic but I'm not sure if there would be any interest? I've got a couple thousand words written but I'm losing motivation. I originally wanted to have it all written before posting, but I think I'll post the first few chapters and then see if there's any interest.
In case anyone is wondering, the fic will be about Sunset after the Fall Formal, except in my version she gets adopted by Luna! I'm just waiting for the cover art and then I'll post the first chapters!
You've definitely got my interest! I love the concept where Sunset gets adopted and while I love reading stories where Sunset gets adopted by Principal Celestia I wished there was more on Luna adopting her. To me, it makes more sense. Both Sunset and Luna have gone through dark paths, I know we don't know much about Vice Principal Luna’s past but i’d reckon if she's anything like Princess Luna, I'm sure she would help Sunset. I too have started writing up my own fic where Sunset gets adopted by Luna, but it's not really about my story. Anyway, sorry for rambling I hope you do well with your story and I can't wait to see it! If you ever need help with any ideas or anything just give me a message. I'll try my best to help out! Sound's interesting can't wait to read it. I'm working on something similar but in the one that I am currently working on I have it written to where Sunset gets adopted by a police officer. With Principal Celestia and Vice Principal Luna becoming her adoptive god parents as well as the mane five becoming her adoptive sisters.
If you've gotten to a place where you feel it's in a publishable state, then by all means go ahead and publish it!

Thank you for your kind words! I definitely started writing this because I wanted to read a story that centered on Luna and Sunset instead of Celestia and Sunset. I'll probably post the first chapter sometime next week!

That was my thought process too! I just think she would be better at helping Sunset deal with guilt and shame. Celestia has made her fair share of mistakes, but it's not the same things as what Luna has done.
Don't apologize for rambling, I love it when people ramble!I will be keeping that in mind! It's hard for me to ask for help, but I'm working on it! Good luck with your own fic!

Yeah I totally agree, Luna is able to relate to Sunset more than Celesita I think. They both have a lot in common and I feel that while Luna is helping Sunset, Sunset is also helping Luna in a way too. I'm so excited to see what you have planned for them! And don't ever hesitate if you do need help/advice on anything, I'm here to listen!
