Now you can play as Andromalius

Yeah, you heard it right. All you need is to own Heroes of Might and Magic 5: Tribes of the East and the mod I made. The mod isn't perfect, it doesn't have custom animations or sounds, but I'll work on them later, hopefully.

You can create your own maps and place Andromalius on them or generate new maps and be able to select him if you choose to play as Inferno faction. Unfortunately, all other maps have to be modified in order for him to appear at all, so you'll have to use the map editor - likely the 'advanced' mode - to do that. I didn't dig into that, so I'm not actually certain how to do it, but it's likely I'll figure it out if I ever get around to doing it.

Here is the link to the mod. To install it, you need to put the entire archive - without unpacking it - into the data folder inside the root game folder.

If you want to place him on the map, you can find him under the filter Heroes (Scenario) in the map editor as shown here:

While we're at it, I also edited the picture of Andromalius I drew, part of which I used for the icon in the game. Perhaps the anatomy is still not right, but I did make it better, in my opinion. I lean towards a more realistic style because, honestly, I think it's better. Here's what I came up with:

Thank you! But, to be honest, all I had to do is edit the texture of a default creature slightly, do plenty of config editing - which was simple but time-consuming - and then figuring out how everything fits together. Overall, not too difficult if you know what you're doing.
