Sorry for the double blog post for those who saw my previous blog (probably not many since it was only up for ten minutes), but I realized I never showed off my newest piece of Who We Become artwork! That would be a shame, since it's quite good.
First off, I want to give a small update on Derpibooru tags. A while back I made a fanfic:who we become tag on Derpi, but I've recently changed it to be more accurate. Now it's series:who we become with fanfic tags for individual stories (like, fanfic:playing house for example). There's no one-stop-shop to look at all the WWB art since artists post to different websites and some are DNP on Derpi, but I do (when allowed by the artist) upload new art to Derpi, so if you feel like perusing some WWB art (or updating which tag you're tracking if you were already tracking it on Derpi), here's a link
With that out of the way, I wanted to show off the newest piece of Who We Become artwork, a scene from Playing House by VerumTee, drawn for the eventual print edition

This scene comes from Act III of Playing House, while Pinkie was visiting Rainbow's house and overheard her playing on uncharacteristically sentimental song about Shy and Sky. It may not be the most standout scene from the story, but I decided on getting this done for the book because I needed Act III artwork, and because it made for a good way to get art of both Pinkie and Rainbow in the book (most of the art focusses on Sunshyne, of course, and I have a picture in mind that involves Applejack as well, so at least all the Everton girls will be represented in art in the final book).
I've known Vee for a little while, and this is the second WWB related pic she did for me. The first was a birthday present, in which she drew Amber Glow. She's a very talented artist, whom you might know from her Sparkling Shimmer comic, and I'm delighted to have had the chance to work with her on this. I'd highly recommend reaching out to her for a commission if you're in the market
