    Merry Christmas.

Howdy folks, Just wanted to take a moment to wish everyone a slightly late Christmas, and to give a bit of an update on things.

For one, I have a few chapters for The Peddler that I'll be posting soon, perhaps as early as tomorrow.

Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overcome it.

    Howdy folks, GC here.

I'm sure many (or maybe few) have wondered where I've been these past months. Well, long story short, breaking an arm and dealing with deaths in family are never easy. So, most of my writing (along with almost everything else) had flatlined the past few months. But, with time, both my familial and physical wounds have healed, and so I've taken up the pen again.

    A little update.

Howdy folks, Chaos here, I know it has been near two months since my last few posts, and since then I have been rather quiet. Well, I'm sure many of you will be glad to hear that I do have a few revised chapters done for We're Not in Europe Anymore..., however, I had found, again, a rather lack of interest in the story. Perhaps my sense of Artist's Syndrome has kept me from accepting their

    The Answer

Morning folks, as promised I have given some thought to a solution to the problem regarding We're Not In Europe Anymore... and have come to a conclusion. I spoke to a moderator on this site yesterday regarding posting two separate stories, one as a rewrite while still keeping the original up, but he recommended to me that I simply delete the old chapters to the original and post rewrites,

    A Serious Question

Howdy folks, Chaos here. After a long time of inactivity on this site, I have decided to give it a go once again. Now, I have found myself wanting to continue We're Not In Europe Anymore, however, after rereading the chapters that are currently posted, I instantly lost a great deal of will to do so. A Serious Question · 5:34pm Jun 3rd, 2020

Howdy folks, Chaos here. After a long time of inactivity on this site, I have decided to give it a go once again. Now, I have found myself wanting to continue We're Not In Europe Anymore, however, after rereading the chapters that are currently posted, I instantly lost a great deal of will to do so. These are the main reasons why:

1. This story is old. The first chapters that I had written originally, the ones before even the 2017 rewrites, were quite aged, If I remember correctly, I had uploaded this story in early 2016. That is a long time ago, and the 2017 rewrites (and even 2018 chapters) are, while much better than the original chapters, not well aged when it comes to my writing style and skills.

2. Despite the chapters being "edited" they are full of grammar errors and bad structure. In some cases it was a pain to read my own work. That is not a good sign.

3. I had lost track, many times, on what I wanted to focus on in the story. I blame mostly my lack of experience at the time, as well as rushing chapters, but it really is a mess of intersecting plot lines.

4. The story has lost a lot of it's original following. Yes, it has over 2,000 views, and over a hundred likes (thank you all for that) but the later chapters don't really have any reads. And I, again, blame my lack of getting chapters out in a cohesive manner. But it still is a good point, I believe.

And 5. It is quite short. Very short. Considering I have worked on this story and pondered it's concepts for almost a decade now, I have not gotten much done with it in the grand scheme of things, and I feel that if I can start it out fresh, I would be a lot more willing to work on it more, and be able to put more words on paper. You could consider this as part of my first point, regarding my skills and experience, but all things considered, I feel it in myself to make this a point of it's own.

Now that I have my reasons down, I have come up with really two solutions:

1. I make a completely new story, separate from the original, and keep the original public for archive purposes (it's not a ridiculously old story, but it has been on the site for almost five years, and has a decent amount of views.)

2. Use the current story, but delete the chapters I have written as I write updated versions.

I am undecided in this, and I would like a bit of feedback. Thanks.

Welcome back!

Glad to see you've returned!

Also, I think option 1 is better. Just my opinion, though.

Thanks man, the feedback is appreciated! I'm likely going to wait until tomorrow to really decide, as that's probably enough time for anyone else to give me potential feedback. I'll likely make another post once I've made up my mind. So be looking out for that.

I will. Best of luck!

I'm going to go with option one.
