It's okay to unplug. · 1:37am Jun 2nd, 2020
Just wanted to take the time to say that it's okay to disconnect.
You absolutely don't have to drown yourself in news and updates of current events hour after hour and day after day because the internet would have you believe it's the right thing to do.
It's alright to tune out, for however long you feel you need to. Read a book. Play a game. Watch a movie. Read or write clop.
Much love,
Miles
That’s why I love sometimes going out in jobs in the ocean With no internet access, it’s Surprising how much stress you can get rid of and just feel happier
Ironic how we used to use the Internet as a method of escapism and now we need to rely on escapism to get off the Internet.

I'm really longing to take a week or two of (unpaid) vacation back to the Badlands in South Dakota. No phone signal for miles, and the prairie and rock formations there are amazing and make you feel so isolated. Puts things in perspective.

Double-edged sword, I suppose.
The world at your fingertips, but sometimes, the world is too much.
For me, every Saturday and Sunday I binge watch anime or movies.
Why do I feel like Discord is behind this
A lesson I've been teaching myself these last few weeks.
Unfortunately, unplugging doesn't help me. I still have to hear about it non-stop from my customers and coworkers.
