Jed On: Steppin’ Off The Accelerator

Hi all,

So, as the name of this blog suggests, I’m going to step off the accelerator on here for a little while.

This isn’t a “hiatus” - I’m still gonna be tapping away at stuff, working hard to bring the next chapters of my Redux stories and still trying to work on other stuff. But between a few… things, I guess, that have slightly soured my experience in the last couple of weeks, as well as the fact that I’ve not touched my original work properly in months, I feel like I need to slow down, let myself breathe, and try to be away for a little while. I don’t feel too bad about that - I mean, in the last two months I’ve published nearly 38,000 words for Redux alone, alongside another 30,000 for my various Reduxverse stories… Jesus, that’s half again what my second novel currently has written 😂 No one can say I haven’t written my fair share these last few weeks 😝

Basically… I’m a bit burnt out. And I’d be able to deal, except that the burnout has combined with other things and become a little untenable at present. So yeah. Accelerator, foot, stepped off.

So until I’m back with the next chapter of Redux (and probably an update for Tales Of Harmony And War and The Silent Sentinel alongside it), take care all, and have a good one.
