Anyone getting the feeling of deja vu?
Well, instead of last time where I hit a roadblock involving ideas. Now, i've hit a massive hill due to my revisions of previous chapters. The latest one that was getting revised was one of my least favorite chapters 'This Place Has Dragons, of course.' and I chose to rewrite the whole thing from scratch. I was also gonna have Pinkie Pie's party in this chapter, but I also realized that I could easily mess up the continuity with what i've written before. So now i'm here again, stressing over keeping anyone who likes this story happy with good quality writing while also trying to have fun. But oh boy, i'm still learning to make stories the best I can and I was completely caught off guard by the amount of people who liked this story. Basically, i'm very inexperienced and unprepared still, but i'm working on it ten fold!
Now, before anyone thinks that this thing is going on hiatus yet again, I promise that it isn't. The reason for it not getting updated is the fact that i'm still trying to figure out where this story is gonna go and not make it up as I go. I've still been constantly working on getting the roadmap for this story completed, but it is taking a long time for me to get it sorted out. Once everything is ready, i'm certain that updates will be flowing in every other week, but until then, i'm gonna try and make sure that I don't go overboard on my rewrites and end up breaking the continuity.
Long story short, i'm gonna focus on my roadmap of the story instead of my revisings, meaning that updates are gonna be slow. But once the roadmap is done, it's gonna be back on the highway going full speed. I just need to get the map done.
Thanks for reading and enjoying my stories, it really means the world to me. I'll do my best to make sure Strider's story is one to be enjoyed.
Take your time, it will be a shame if this story turns to the "forever hiatus" side of the fanfiction.
