Happy 20th Anniversary Hot Wheels: The World Race · 8:41pm Jul 12th, 2023
Greetings, it's certainly been awhile since I've posted anything here. Rest assured, I'm not dead, and neither are my stories. Today marks a fairly special one for me, for it's the anniversary of a movie that ignited my love for so many things. It's the 20th anniversary of "Hot Wheels: The World Race", a movie released back in 2003, and one that I cherish dearly.
That movie is partly the reason I'm even here on this site. It introduced me to a world that I still love to this very day, and it's my dream to one day create worlds of my own that are able to give people the happiness and joy that its world did for me. It may be fairly simple, it certainly has some dated graphics, but its story and characters are still cherished and loved. And of course, it also brought with it a slew of incredibly fast cars (It is Hot Wheels after all). It introduced iconic vehicles like the Deora 2 to the digital plains of Cartoon Network, and served as a fantastic prequel to a series that is just as loved (if not more) as it is.
Thanks for all the memories World Race, thank you for introducing us to such a magical place... to Highway Thirty Five...
I still have it on VHS. I going to find a DVD version.
