Blog Number 77: Growing Uncertainty Edition
A month ago, paperhearts announced he'd been admitted to hospital and would be taking a short absence from the site. I'd hoped he'd be back by now, given the usual cycle of COVID-19 lasts a few weeks, but I haven't heard anything since.
I have to admit I'm getting increasingly worried. Hopefully, it's not the worst case scenario, but I'd prefer to know for sure if possible. No one's heard anything, have they?

Can't say I've heard anything either. Honestly, I'm getting a tad nervous myself.
I can't remember where I read this (and It might already be outdated anyway), but I recall reading somewhere that hospital stays for coronavirus usually last anywhere between 2 to 8 weeks, so there's that.
I was thinking exactly this earlier this afternoon. I do know from an acquaintance who had the virus quite early on that recovery can be a protracted affair, so I'm hoping that's all it is. (Not that that's a minor thing, but you know what I mean.) I really would love to hear that paperhearts is okay, even if he's not coming back here for a while (or at all), and I'm sure that sentiment goes for all of us.

While I'm quite prepared to give another month to waiting, it's the uncertainty that keeps gnawing at my mind. I wanted to check whether, for instance, anyone else knew him personally or had heard from him.
We used to have some enjoyable conversations, and under the current circumstances, a hospital visit is a bad enough sign. Unfortunately, I'm feeling the effects of his prolonged absence.

I don't know him outside Fimfiction and my blog, so I'm afraid I can't help there. I wish I could. I'm sorry it's getting to you so much, too. Even though I wasn't especially close friends with him, I am very worried right now.
