I probably passed that a couple days ago. I continue to be surprised by how this story has done. When I first posted it I was expecting it to be a flash in the pan, maybe a few hundred views, a couple likes, probably more dislikes. But when I woke up the morning after posting to find it in the Featured box I was floored.
People started posting it in other groups, possibly promoting my story. (Didn't check at the time because, as mentioned, I was floored.)
I checked back every couple hours expecting it to be down, or that it was some kind of mistake to begin with. Heck, I even asked if other people saw it there and what it meant. I honestly couldn't believe it. I just kept telling myself that a story about someone losing their struggle against depression couldn't be that popular. That I couldn't have wrote something that good or meriting such attention.
While it's popularity did decline abruptly it still gets several views a week. It's even on Goodreads, a site with reviews of actual books. And my story made it there.
Every time I look at it, especially the analytics, I'm reminded of just how grateful I am to everyone who helped get my story where it is. I still read through all of the comments from time to time too. People sharing their thoughts and experiences. Their struggles. Some even offering help to those who may need it. (Thanks again Antiquarian)
Thank you everyone, for everything.
