Some ideas I've been considering. · 2:06am Apr 21st, 2020
Hey guys! So, there are a few things I have been considering including in "Technomancer in Equestria" for awhile now and I would like to get your opinions on them. That being said, I honestly can't make any guarantees one way or the other as to whether I will actually end up including any of them or not. Stuff is subject to change as I continue to write and the story continues to progress.
Anyways here's a list of the general concepts behind a few of the things I've been considering up until this point:
1. One of the other current High Lords appears in Equestria.
2. Silvanus crosses between universes to kill Gerhardt.
3. (sort of an alternate possibility to #2) A cult dedicated to Silvanus starts to form and tries to sabotage and kill Gerhardt.
4. (unrelated to #3) Some ponies start actively protesting and boycotting certain types of technology Gerhardt builds and sells for various reasons.
5. Gerhardt somehow gains a child and becomes a parent.
6. A love interest? (Doubtful, but still a remote possibility I think.)
Please tell me what you think. Do any of you have any interest in any of these? Also, I would love to hear any ideas that any of you might have that you think could potentially be interesting! Good night/day, depending on your timezone, and stay safe out there everyone!
Opinion of ideas in that order:
1. It might seem possible though the type of high lord, and his capabilities on locating the technomancer is something i wonder about. You also need a reason on how he get there but can't bring the technomancer with him.
2. A bit iffy on this; on one hand this actually makes sense on something silvanus would do, but the question is on how he found the technomancer in those nigh infinte dimensions that he just tossed the technomancer into.
3. Same opinion on no.3 just with a different person.
4. Whatever reason they may be must, i think, be against the idea of harmony and peace and all that stuff.
5. A bit random and something to wonder about, though not suprising as for whatever 'reason' he gets a young apprentice that starts calling him dad.
6. Ehh, 50-50 question is if the character is oc that it might be quite easy just to make the love interest be something that appeals to the technomancer. If it is a canon character like twilight sparkle than that is just another problem that i will not go into.
Overall not bad plot ideas and some have potential though i kind of expected these things in both a hie and when involving gods.
